Fertigung und Materialgüte
Aus Aluminium auf CNC-Anlagen gefräst und sonst nichts, wird dieser Deckel von seinem Hersteller als robust und langlebig beschrieben, und seine Form ist eine neue. Der Mechanismus ist die schnell schließende Klinke: Der Tank der Tracer 900 GT öffnet mit einer Bewegung und schließt auf demselben Weg, ohne einen Schlüssel in der Jackentasche zu suchen. Der in der Klinke gehaltene Stift ist der Ort, an dem die sechs Farben ins Spiel kommen, gewählt bei der Bestellung. Accossato führt diese Klinke als eigenständiges Ersatzteil, sodass der Deckel den Stoß übersteht, den eine belebte Box früher oder später erzeugt.
