Die Triumph Sprint GT 1050 schloss ein Kapitel. Ab 2010 gebaut, war sie das letzte Mitglied einer Familie britischer Sporttourer, die über Jahre Dreizylindermotoren und festes Gepäck durch Europa getragen hatten, und als sie eingestellt wurde, ersetzte Triumph sie durch nichts Vergleichbares. Die verbliebenen Motorräder werden von Besitzern gepflegt, die genau wissen, was sie haben. Accossato führt die Sprint GT 1050 für den FC101, einen aus Aluminium gefrästen Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss und farbigem Stift.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato nimmt massives Aluminium, fräst es auf CNC-Anlagen und bietet das Ergebnis als robusten, langlebigen Deckel mit neuem Design an. Das arbeitende Teil ist die schnell schließende Klinke: Sie hält den Deckel und gibt ihn mit einer Bewegung frei, was den Tank der Sprint schnell öffnet. Der von der Klinke getragene Stift ist das Stück, für das Sie eine Farbe wählen, mit sechs auf der Liste. Da Accossato diese Klinke separat verkauft, wird eine beschädigte für sich ersetzt, und der Deckel bleibt am Motorrad.
