Von 2015 bis 2020 gewann Jonathan Rea sechs Jahre in Folge den Superbike-Weltmeistertitel auf Kawasakis ZX-10R-Familie, und die von 2016 bis 2020 gebaute Generation ist das Serienmotorrad hinter dem größten Teil dieser Erfolgsserie. Ihre Besitzer fahren auf Klubniveau und bei Trackdays statt bei Weltmeisterschaftsläufen, teilen mit dem Werksteam aber eine Gewohnheit: Das Motorrad fährt erst hinaus, wenn jeder Punkt auf der Checkliste abgehakt ist. Für diese ZX-10R, einschließlich des ABS-Modells und der SE ab 2018, bietet Accossato den FC113, einen aus CNC-gefrästem Aluminium gefertigten Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fräst den FC113 aus Aluminium auf CNC-Maschinen, ohne weiteres Material im Gehäuse, und bezeichnet ihn als robust und langlebig; die Optik ist eine eigene, neue Gestaltung des Unternehmens. Im Einsatz dreht sich alles um die schnell schließende Klinke. Eine Bewegung gibt den Deckel frei, eine weitere schließt ihn wieder, sodass der Einfüllstutzen der ZX-10R nur während des Einfüllens offen steht. Der Stift an dieser Klinke ist der Ort, an dem Ihre Farbwahl zur Geltung kommt. Klinken lassen sich auch einzeln kaufen, sodass eine beschädigte Klinke ersetzt wird, ohne gleich den ganzen Deckel neu zu kaufen.
Was eine Meisterschafts-Checkliste lehrt
Profi-Rennteams arbeiten mit schriftlichen Checklisten, und der Tankdeckel steht aus einem einfachen Grund darauf. Ein nicht richtig verschlossener Einfüllstutzen kann Kraftstoff auf heiße Teile oder den Hinterreifen austreten lassen, und ein Fahrer, der deshalb stürzt, kann andere mit hinunterreißen. Die Gewohnheit lässt sich leicht in die Garage eines Privatfahrers übertragen. Schreiben Sie Ihre eigene Liste für die ZX-10R und bewahren Sie sie im Werkzeugkasten auf: Reifendruck, Radbolzen, Bremsbeläge, Hebel, Kettenspannung und nach jedem Tanken Deckel geschlossen und Klinke eingerastet. Haken Sie sie vor jeder Session ab, nicht nur morgens. Machen Sie das Tanken zu einem festen Punkt im Ablauf statt zu etwas nebenbei Erledigtem, mit abgestelltem Motor und dem Motorrad aufrecht auf dem Ständer. Arbeiten zwei Personen am Motorrad, legen Sie fest, wer den Deckel prüft, denn eine Aufgabe, die beide beim anderen vermuten, geht so am leichtesten unter. Nichts davon macht einen Klubfahrer so schnell wie einen Weltmeister, aber es nimmt eines der kleinen Risiken, die Profis gezielt ausschließen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Auf Accossatos Liste führen drei Einträge zum FC113: die ZX-10R mit ABS von 2016 bis 2018, die ZX-10R von 2016 bis 2020 und die SE von 2018 bis 2020. Für Motorräder bis 2015 nennt Accossato den FC143, ab 2021 den FC126, das Modelljahr entscheidet also, welcher Deckel passt. Straßenzulassung
Für den FC113 ist weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Teilegutachten dokumentiert, sein Platz ist daher die Rennstrecke. Eine zugelassene ZX-10R sollte auf öffentlichen Straßen ihren Originaldeckel behalten, der sich normalerweise mit dem Zündschlüssel verriegelt.
