Kawasaki nahm die Z1000 R Edition für 2017 ins Programm: eine Z1000 mit leistungsfähigerer Vorderradbremse und stärkerem Federbein als das Grundmodell, gedacht für Fahrer, die beides auch nutzen wollen. Solche Fahrer verbringen Zeit auf der Strecke und in der Werkstatt, und die Arbeit an den Bremsen gehört dazu: frische Flüssigkeit vor einem Streckentag, neue Beläge, ein Entlüften nach einem harten Turn. Der Behälter der Vorderradbremse sitzt am Lenker, in bequemer Tropfweite zum Tank. Für die Z1000R von 2017 führt Accossato den FC143, einen Tankdeckel aus Aluminium mit Schnellverschluss und einem Klinkenstift in der Farbe, die Sie wählen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der FC143 von Accossato ist durchgehend aus Aluminium CNC-gefräst und, in den Worten des Unternehmens, robust und langlebig. Es ist ein neues Design. Eine schnell schließende Klinke öffnet und schließt den Tank der Z1000R in einem Augenblick, und ihren Stift bestellen Sie in derjenigen der sechs Farben, die zum Motorrad passt, vielleicht in einer, die am Rahmen oder an den Rädern schon vorkommt. Sollte die Klinke beschädigt werden, liefert Accossato sie einzeln, der Deckel muss also nicht ersetzt werden.
Bremsflüssigkeit und die Tankoberseite
Bremsflüssigkeit setzt Lack hart zu und kann farbige Oberflächen zeichnen, und ein einziger Tropfen, der vom Behälter herunterläuft, genügt für eine bleibende Spur. Wer an einer Z1000R die Flüssigkeit wechselt oder die Bremsen entlüftet, im Fahrerlager oder zu Hause, sollte den Tank als den gefährdetsten Bereich behandeln. Drehen Sie den Lenker so, dass der Behälter möglichst waagerecht steht, und decken Sie den Tank dann vollständig mit einem dicken Tuch oder einer passenden Abdeckung ab, den Tankdeckel eingeschlossen. Halten Sie ein zweites Tuch und eine Flasche sauberes Wasser in Reichweite: Landet Flüssigkeit auf dem Motorrad, tupfen Sie sie ab und spülen Sie die Stelle sofort, statt sie über die Oberfläche zu wischen. Lassen Sie den Tankdeckel die ganze Zeit geschlossen, damit nichts seinen Weg in den Tank findet. Ist die Arbeit erledigt, heben Sie die Abdeckung vorsichtig ab, falten Sie sie nach innen, damit Tropfen darin bleiben, und sehen Sie den FC143 und den Lack durch, bevor die Z1000R wieder hinausrollt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Auf der Anwendungsliste von Accossato erscheint der FC143 für die Z 1000 R mit dem einzigen Modelljahr 2017, und dieses Produkt folgt diesem Eintrag. Wir führen denselben Deckel außerdem für die normale Z1000 und für die Z1000SX. Stammt Ihre R Edition aus einem anderen Jahr, studieren Sie die Liste sorgfältig vor der Bestellung, denn dieser Eintrag nennt allein 2017.
Straßenzulassung
Für den FC143 sind weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Teilegutachten hinterlegt, wir verkaufen ihn deshalb für den Streckeneinsatz. Der Originaldeckel der Z1000R lässt sich üblicherweise mit dem Schlüssel abschließen und bleibt die richtige Wahl für öffentliche Straßen.
