Kawasaki baute die Versys-X 300 als kleines, leichtes Adventure-Motorrad, und für viele Fahrer ist es die Maschine, auf der sie zum ersten Mal den Asphalt verlassen. Ein guter Weg zu lernen ist ein Kurs in einem Offroad-Trainingsgelände, wo der Boden privat ist, Instruktoren zur Stelle sind und sich niemand an einer langsamen ersten Runde stört. Solche Orte sind voller Enduro- und Motocrossmaschinen, manche davon Zweitakter, die mit Gemisch fahren, und das bringt eine eigene Frage rund um den Kraftstoff mit sich. Für die Versys-X 300 von 2017 bis 2023 baut Accossato den FC126, einen gefrästen Aluminium-Tankdeckel, den eine schnell schließende Klinke öffnet.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fräst den FC126 auf CNC-Maschinen vollständig aus Aluminium und nennt ihn robust und langlebig. Das Design ist neu, und die schnell schließende Klinke lässt den Tank der Versys-X 300 ohne Verzug öffnen und schließen. Ihren Stift bestellen Sie in derjenigen der sechs Farben, die Sie bevorzugen. Wird die Klinke beschädigt, etwa wenn das Motorrad im Schritttempo an einem schlammigen Hang umkippt, lässt sich ein Ersatz einzeln kaufen, während der Deckel selbst an seinem Platz bleibt. Auch das Fahren im Gelände ist für Accossato vertrautes Terrain: Zur Geschichte des Unternehmens gehört ein Enduro-Weltmeistertitel von 1985.
Gemisch neben Normalbenzin
Zweitakt-Enduros fahren mit Gemisch, Benzin mit bereits eingerührtem Öl, und ihre Besitzer transportieren es in Kanistern, die denen mit reinem Benzin sehr ähnlich sehen. In einem vollen Offroad-Fahrerlager stehen die beiden oft nebeneinander unter demselben Zeltdach oder hinten im selben Transporter. Füllt man Gemisch in die Versys-X 300, sollte der Tank eigentlich abgelassen werden, bevor der Tag weitergeht; füllt man reines Benzin in einen Zweitakter, kann sein Motor aus Mangel an Öl festgehen. Die Antwort heißt klare Beschriftung. Kennzeichnen Sie Ihre Kanister in großen Buchstaben auf mehr als einer Seite, nehmen Sie für jeden Kraftstoff eine andere Kanisterfarbe oder ein anderes Klebeband und halten Sie Ihre eigenen Kanister zusammen, getrennt von denen aller anderen. Leihen Sie sich nie einen Kanister, ohne zu fragen, was darin ist. Wenn Sie die Versys-X 300 betanken, schalten Sie aus, öffnen Sie den FC126, füllen Sie langsam ein und schließen Sie die Klinke, bevor irgendetwas anderes geschieht.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die Anwendungsliste von Accossato gibt den FC126 für die Versys-X 300 von 2017 bis 2023 an, in einem einzigen Eintrag für den gesamten Zeitraum. In unserer Garage erscheint das Produkt auch unter den Versionen Adventure und Urban des Motorrads. Derselbe Deckel ist bei uns für die Ninja 400 und die Versys 1000 verzeichnet. Straßenzulassung
Für den FC126 sind weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Teilegutachten dokumentiert, er ist deshalb ein Teil für Rennstrecken und abgesperrtes Privatgelände. Der eigene Deckel der Versys-X 300 lässt sich normalerweise mit dem Schlüssel abschließen, und er ist der richtige für die Straße.
