Die KTM 890 SMT ist ein Supermoto-Tourer: langhubiges Fahrwerk, Straßenräder und eine aufrechte Sitzposition, die sie zu einem überraschend alltagstauglichen Motorrad machen. Accossatos Frontbelag AGPA96 in der organischen Mischung passt auf die 890 SMT des Modelljahrs 2024. Er eignet sich für Besitzer, die mit der SMT pendeln, Besorgungen erledigen und durch die Stadt fahren, die eine leise Frontbremse mit sanftem Anbiss schätzen und ihre Scheiben viele Saisons lang nutzen möchten.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Laut Accossato hält diese Mischung länger durch und behandelt die Scheibe schonend. Für eine SMT, die kurze tägliche Strecken zurücklegt, bedeutet das seltenere Werkstattbesuche und Scheiben, die nur wenig verschleißen. Zum breiteren Sortiment ergänzt das italienische Unternehmen, dass seine Beläge den Wärmeaufbau begrenzen, was Fading gering hält, und dennoch kräftig verzögern. Der Reibbelag ist auf die übliche AGPA96-Trägerplatte aufgebracht, sodass die Bremssättel keine Änderung benötigen.
Supermoto-Sitzposition, Stadtroutine
Die aufrechte Sitzbank und die breiten Lenker der SMT geben einen guten Überblick über den Verkehr, und viele Fahrer schätzen sie besonders auf einer belebten Stadtroute. Dort wird die Frontbremse oft, aber sanft eingesetzt: Ausrollen bis zur Ampel, Abbremsen vor einem Schwellen, Verzögern, wenn ein Bus ausschert. Ein organischer Belag passt gut zu dieser Routine. Er beißt kalt sanft an und baut beim Ziehen des Hebels gleichmäßig auf, was die Kontrolle bei niedrigem Tempo auch für Fahrer entspannt macht, die neu auf einem hohen Motorrad sind.
Prüfen Sie die Belagstärke, wann immer Sie die Reifen kontrollieren, und reinigen Sie die Scheiben nur mit speziellem Bremsenreiniger. Erneuern Sie die Beläge in beiden Bremssätteln gleichzeitig.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato gibt die KTM 890 SMT des Modelljahrs 2024 als Anwendung für AGPA96 an der Front an. Der Bremssattel hinten am selben Motorrad verwendet AGPA29, ebenfalls für 2024.
