Motorräder verschwinden manchmal für Jahre. Ein Fahrer wechselt den Job, eine Familie kommt hinzu, und eine Maschine, die jedes Wochenende gefahren wurde, landet unter einer Decke am Ende eines Schuppens, mit einem platten Reifen und einer Notiz, sich im Frühjahr darum zu kümmern. Kommt die Decke endlich herunter, ist der Motor meist das kleinste Problem. Accossato listet den AGS14 für die 450XC-W von 2009 bis 2016, einen silbernen Kupplungshebel in Originalform, oft eines der Teile, die eine Wiederinbetriebnahme braucht.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Eine ältere Maschine zurückzubringen, ist leichter, wenn die Teile die sind, mit denen sie begonnen hat. Der AGS14 bildet die Form des Kupplungshebels nach, mit dem die 450XC-W gebaut wurde, sodass das Cockpit so endet, wie die Fabrik es angeordnet hat, statt eine Sammlung von dem zu werden, was gerade verfügbar war, was auch die nächste Reparatur leichter macht. Accossato listet das Teil unter seinen Ersatzteilen in Originalform, mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Blick entwickelt, und gibt an, dass das verwendete Fertigungsverfahren die Hebel nach Beschädigung oder einem Zusammenstoß widerstandsfähiger macht. Die für diese Passung angegebene Farbe ist silber, und nichts Weiteres wird veröffentlicht.
Drei Winter in einem Schuppen
Lagerung schadet still. Luft bewegt sich täglich in und aus einem unbeheizten Gebäude, Feuchtigkeit schlägt sich auf kaltem Metall nieder, und jede Lagerfläche ohne Fett korrodiert langsam, solange das Motorrad dort steht. Lenkerbedienelemente leiden mehr als die meisten, denn die Lagerstelle ist ein einfaches Lager mit geringem Spiel, und niemand denkt daran, es zu schützen. Eine Maschine, die ein paar Saisons gestanden hat, lohnt sich deshalb in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge anzugehen. Erzwingen Sie zuerst nichts. Geben Sie Rostlöser um die Köpfe der Lagerschrauben und die Muttern und lassen Sie ihn wirken, während Sie sich um Reifen und Flüssigkeiten kümmern. Kommen Sie zurück, halten Sie die Mutter richtig mit einem passenden Schlüssel fest und drehen Sie die Schraube langsam; ein abgerundetes Verbindungsteil ist der eine Fehler, der daraus eine echte Arbeit macht. Ist der Hebel draußen, betrachten Sie Schraube und Bohrung auf Narben und ersetzen Sie die Schraube, wenn ihr Schaft rau ist. Reinigen Sie alles, fetten Sie es und montieren Sie ein neues Hebelblatt, wenn das alte verbogen ist, an der Lagerstelle korrodiert oder Spiel hat. Betätigen Sie dann die Kupplung viele Male, bevor Sie den Motor starten, und prüfen Sie, dass das Hebelblatt jedes Mal vollständig zurückkehrt. Eine so zurückgebrachte 450XC-W fühlt sich an wie ein Motorrad, das ordentlich eingelagert wurde, was das Ziel ist, und die Bedienelemente sind der günstigste Teil des Wegs dorthin.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato gibt den AGS14 für die 450XC-W von 2009 bis 2016 an und nennt keinen weiteren Original-Kupplungshebel für dieses Modell, während die Bremsseite vom AGD316 für 2014 bis 2016 abgedeckt wird. Der Kupplungseintrag wird sehr weit innerhalb dieser Familie geteilt und ist bei uns unter anderem für die Beta RR 390 4T, die Husqvarna FE 450 und die Husqvarna TC 250 katalogisiert, sodass ein Ersatzteil zwei Maschinen dienen kann. Accossatos CNC-Hebel für dieses Motorrad sind der B8303 und der C7303.
Straßenzulassung
Accossato hat uns keine Zulassungspapiere für den AGS14 übergeben, sodass sich weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein Prüfzeichen zeigen lässt, und der Hebel wird als Teil für Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz verkauft.
