Kaum etwas verschleißt eine Motocross-Kupplung so wie das Üben von Starts. Ein Fahrer, der an einer FC 450 am Gatter arbeitet, absolviert an einem Nachmittag zwanzig oder dreißig Starts, jeder davon mit gehaltenem Hebel, belastetem Motor und Loslassen im richtigen Moment. Die linke Hand erledigt das alles, und der Hebel ist das Teil des Motorrads, das sie dabei festhält. Accossato listet den AGS17 für die FC 450 von 2018 bis 2021, einen silbernen Ersatz-Kupplungshebel in Originalform.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato beschreibt den AGS17 als Ersatzteil in Originalform, und diese Beschreibung ist der Kern der Sache: Der Hebel hat die Form, die Husqvarna an der FC 450 verwendet hat, sodass sich das Gefühl des linken Bedienelements nach einer Reparatur genau so anfühlt, wie es der Fahrer eingeübt hat. Die Baureihe wurde entwickelt, um die Kosten solcher Reparaturen niedrig zu halten, und Accossato gibt an, dass sein Fertigungsverfahren diese Hebel widerstandsfähiger macht, sobald sie beschädigt wurden oder gestürzt sind. Hier ist er silber. Weder Maße noch Gewicht noch Werkstoff werden vom Hersteller veröffentlicht.
Ein Nachmittag voller Starttraining
Starttraining belastet den gesamten Antrieb, und es lohnt sich, es über eine Session zu verteilen statt dreißig Starts hintereinander zu fahren. Lassen Sie das Motorrad zwischen den Läufen abkühlen, behalten Sie das Kupplungsgefühl im Auge, und beenden Sie den Tag, wenn der Anbisspunkt zu wandern beginnt. Auch der Hebel verdient Aufmerksamkeit. Ihre Handposition am Gatter ist eine Gewohnheit, und ein Hebel, der bei einem früheren Sturz leicht verbogen wurde, legt Ihre Finger genau in dem Moment an eine andere Stelle, in dem Konstanz zählt. Prüfen Sie ihn vor der Session, nicht während ihr: Der Hebel sollte sich durch seinen ganzen Weg bewegen, von selbst zurückkehren und im Ruhezustand den geringen, vom Handbuch angegebenen Leerweg lassen. Fehlt etwas davon, wechseln Sie den Hebel. Der Wechsel ist an dieser hydraulischen Kupplung eine geschlossene Angelegenheit ohne Entlüften, kostet also nur ein paar Minuten und etwas Fett an der Lagerstelle. Machen Sie dann ein paar sanfte Starts auf ebenem Grund, bevor Sie wieder ans Gatter fahren.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Für die FC 450 listet Accossato den AGS17 von 2018 bis 2021 und den AGS14 von 2014 bis 2016, wobei 2017 auf der Kupplungsseite nicht abgedeckt ist. Der AGS17 ist bei uns außerdem für die FE 501, die FS 450 und die TC 125 gelistet. Der passende Original-Bremshebel für eine FC 450 von 2018 bis 2021 ist der AGD14. Fahrer, die ein Tuningteil statt eines Ersatzteils möchten, finden Accossatos CNC-Kupplungshebel C7283 und C7284 für dieses Motorrad, dazu den CNC-Bremshebel B8283.
Straßenzulassung
Uns liegt weder eine deutsche ABE noch ein anderes Prüfzeichen für den AGS17 vor, da keine solchen Unterlagen übergeben wurden, und der Hebel ist für Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz gelistet.
