BMW baute die F 800 GS Adventure für Reisen, die in Wochen und nicht in Stunden gemessen werden, mit größerem Tank und großzügigerer Scheibe als die normale GS, und solche Reisen enden den Tag oft auf einem Campingplatz. Auf Campingplätzen treffen Seitenständer auf ihren unzuverlässigsten Untergrund: vom Regen aufgeweichtes Gras, Sand oder Schotter über lockerer Erde. Über Nacht kann ein beladenes Motorrad langsam einsinken, bis es über den Punkt ohne Wiederkehr hinausneigt, und am Morgen liegt es mit verbogenem Hebel auf der Seite. Für die F 800 GS Adventure von 2013 bis 2018 führt Accossato den AGD306, einen schwarzen Ersatz-Bremshebel in Originalform.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der AGD306 ist ein Ersatzteil im Originalstil, gemacht, um an der F 800 GS Adventure den Platz eines beschädigten Serienhebels einzunehmen, ohne das Aussehen des Motorrads zu verändern. Accossatos Priorität bei der Entwicklung war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Hersteller gibt außerdem an, dass sein Fertigungsverfahren dem Hebel eine erhöhte Widerstandsfähigkeit nach Beschädigungen oder einem Unfall gibt, und stellt das als den wesentlichen technischen Punkt dar. Die Farbe ist Schwarz, wie Accossato ihn führt. Über diese Angaben hinaus haben wir keine technischen Informationen von Accossato und nennen deshalb auch keine.
Weicher Boden unter dem Seitenständer
Der Kniff besteht darin, die Last zu verteilen, bevor der Ständer einsinkt. Erfahrene Reisende führen eine kleine flache Platte mit oder nehmen eine flachgedrückte Getränkedose, um sie unter den Fuß des Seitenständers zu legen, und suchen sich auf zweifelhaftem Untergrund eine Stelle, die eben ist oder sanft zur Ständerseite hin abfällt. Gepäck verschärft das Problem, denn eine voll gepackte F 800 GS Adventure drückt stärker auf diesen kleinen Fuß. Lassen Sie das Motorrad im Gang stehen, damit es nicht rollen kann, und sehen Sie noch einmal nach ihm, bevor Sie sich zur Nacht zurückziehen, besonders wenn Regen angesagt ist. Ist es doch umgefallen, heben Sie es mit den Beinen statt mit dem Rücken an und prüfen Sie vor der Weiterfahrt die rechte Seite: Bremshebel, Spiegel, Blinker, Fußraste. Ein verbogener Hebel sollte ersetzt werden, denn ihn zurückzubiegen birgt das Risiko eines Risses, den Sie erst sehen, wenn es darauf ankommt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato gibt den AGD306 für die F 800 GS Adventure in zwei ABS-Zeiträumen an, 2013 bis 2016 und 2016 bis 2018, die zusammen 2013 bis 2018 abdecken. Ein zweiter Ersatz-Bremshebel steht für dieses Motorrad nicht auf der Liste, die Wahl ist also einfach, und der schwarze AGS299 ist der passende Kupplungshebel für dieselben Jahre. Bei Inter-Pace ist der AGD306 außerdem für die normale F 800 GS und die F 800 GT gelistet, und die CNC-Hebel EDB001 und ESB008 sind die Alternative für Fahrer, die ein Tuningteil suchen.
Straßenzulassung
Wir haben für den AGD306 keine Prüf- oder Zulassungsunterlagen erhalten, es gibt also keine deutsche ABE und kein Prüfzeichen, auf das wir verweisen könnten. Der Hebel ist deshalb für den Renn- und Wettbewerbseinsatz gelistet.
