Die Yamaha YZ250 hat bei Zweitakt-Motocross-Fahrern noch immer eine treue Anhängerschaft, und ein Teil davon, sie auf der Strecke zu halten, ist die Aufmerksamkeit für kleine, leicht übersehene Teile wie die Hülsen beidseitig an der Hinterradnabe. Accossato führt seine Distanzhülse für das Hinterrad, auf Italienisch Distanziali ruota posteriore genannt, für die zwischen 2003 und 2019 gebaute YZ250, in Blau oder Silber, beidseitig an der Hinterradnabe auf der Achse.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Was die DSY01 in Accossatos eigenen Angaben mit der YZ250 verbindet, sind Motorrad, Baujahre und die Farbwahl; Material oder Maß werden nicht genannt, und dasselbe Hülsenset erstreckt sich auf die WR250F, die WR450F und die YZ125. Die Ausführung Blau oder Silber ist Geschmackssache und hat keinen Einfluss darauf, wie die Hülsen das Rad in Position halten. Eine Hülse, die durch einen harten Aufprall ihre Form verloren hat, oder eine, die nicht mehr bündig an der Nabe sitzt, sollte man austauschen statt weiterzuverwenden.
Die Hülsenfarbe zum Motorrad passend wählen
Fahrer, die ihre YZ250 genauso gepflegt halten, wie sie läuft, denken oft an Kleinigkeiten wie die Farbe der Distanzhülsen, besonders weil diese gut sichtbar sind, sobald das Hinterrad für ein Foto oder eine Ausstellung ausgebaut ist. Blau passt eher zu einem Motorrad, das nahe am Werkslook von Yamaha bleibt, während Silber neben einer individuellen Lackierung oder einem Mix aus Teilen anderer Marken etwas neutraler wirkt. Beide Optionen halten das Rad gleich gut und gerade an der Achse, die Wahl richtet sich also allein danach, was zum Rest des Motorrads passt. Wer gleichzeitig andere Teile am Hinterrad erneuert, etwa Kettenrad oder Kette, hat einen natürlichen Anlass, eine Hülsenfarbe zu wählen, die den ganzen Bereich zusammenbringt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Anwendungsliste führt die DSY01 für die YZ250 über den hier genannten Zeitraum 2003 bis 2019, und dasselbe Teil wird mit der WR250F, der WR450F und der YZ125 geteilt. Besitzer, die mehr als eines dieser Yamaha-Modelle fahren, können ein Ersatzpaar für den ganzen Fuhrpark nutzen.
