In der Stadt arbeitet die linke Hand mehr als irgendwo sonst, denn jede Kreuzung, jede Ampel und jede langsame Schlange bedeutet, die Kupplung zu ziehen und wieder kommen zu lassen. Ein leichter, gleichbleibender Hebel macht das einfach, und er hängt von einer Hydraulik in gutem Zustand ab. Für den Kupplungsbehälter der Monster 1200 S von 2014 bis 2020 fertigt Accossato den FP007, einen gefrästen Aluminiumdeckel, der in sechs eloxierten Farben erhältlich ist.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Orange, Gold, Schwarz, Blau, Silber oder Rot: Der FP007 wird aus Aluminium gefräst und in einer dieser sechs Farben eloxiert. Er passt zu der Kupplungspumpe, die Ducati an den Motorrädern der Liste von Accossato verbaut hat, und an der Monster 1200 S tritt er an die Stelle des serienmäßigen Behälterdeckels, während die Hydraulik bleibt, wie sie konstruiert wurde. Prüfen Sie beim Abheben des alten Deckels die Dichtung oder Membran darunter. Ist sie hart geworden oder eingerissen, ersetzen Sie sie, bevor der neue Deckel aufkommt.
Kupplungsarbeit im Stadtverkehr
Eine hydraulische Kupplung hält das Hebelgefühl gleichmäßig, und genau das wünscht sich ein Fahrer nach einer Stunde Stop-and-go. Sie bleibt nur so, solange die Anlage gesund ist, und ein paar Gewohnheiten helfen dabei. Werfen Sie hin und wieder einen Blick auf den Behälter: Die Flüssigkeit sollte im markierten Bereich stehen und nicht nachgedunkelt sein. Denken Sie daran, dass sie mit der Zeit Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt, und halten Sie das Wechselintervall der Bedienungsanleitung ein. Drehen Sie beim Montieren des FP007 den Lenker, bis der Behälter waagerecht steht, legen Sie ein Tuch über Tank und Instrumente und nehmen Sie den Deckel nur so lange ab, wie die Arbeit dauert. Waschen Sie jeden Tropfen sofort mit Wasser vom Lack. Ziehen Sie den Deckel behutsam an und probieren Sie den Hebel dann bei abgestelltem Motor mehrmals aus. Achten Sie auf der ersten Fahrt an den ersten Kreuzungen darauf: Das Greifen soll am gewohnten Punkt einsetzen, und das Anfahren an der Ampel soll sich an der Monster 1200 S so geschmeidig anfühlen wie zuvor.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die Anwendungsliste von Accossato deckt für den FP007 die Monster 1200 S von 2014 bis 2020 und die S Stripe von 2015 und 2016 ab. Derselbe Deckel erscheint in unserem Katalog für die Monster 1200 R, die Multistrada 1200 S und die Diavel. Für die Monster 1200 S fertigt Accossato außerdem den Öldeckel FP004 sowie die Bremsflüssigkeitsdeckel TS003 und TS012.
