Auf einer Motocross-Strecke kommt das härteste Bremsmanöver oft direkt nach einem Sprung. Die Husqvarna FC 250 verlässt die Absprungkante eines Tables, setzt auf der anderen Seite auf und hat nur wenige Motorradlängen bis zu einer engen Kurve, also muss der Fahrer die Vorderradbremse finden, während die Gabel noch die Landung verarbeitet. Accossatos B8283 ist für genau solche Momente an diesem 250er-Viertakt-Motocrosser gemacht, gelistet für 2014 bis 2020 und für 2022. Er wird in Italien aus Ergal 7075 gefräst, und sein Hebelblatt sitzt auf einem Gelenk, damit ein Sturz auf die rechte Seite nicht mit einem abgebrochenen Hebel enden muss.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Ergal 7075 ist eine hochfeste Aluminiumlegierung, und Accossato verwendet sie für den B8283, weil das Unternehmen drei Dinge zugleich von dem Hebel verlangt: Festigkeit, geringes Gewicht und Zuverlässigkeit. Das Teil ist nicht gegossen. CNC-Maschinen in Italien fräsen es aus dem Vollen, und es entsteht aus zwei Teilen. Die dunkel ausgeführte Basis bleibt am Drehpunkt des Bremszylinders der FC 250; das Hebelblatt in Schwarz, Blau oder Orange ist über das Klappgelenk mit ihr verbunden. Da es um die Bremsseite geht, ist das Blatt das kürzere von Accossatos Paar, geformt für drei Finger.
Landung direkt in die Kurve
Streckenbauer setzen gern einen Sprung direkt vor eine Kurve, weil er die Fahrer zwingt, schon in der Luft zu entscheiden, wie sie verzögern. Auf einer FC 250 wollen Sie den Motor auf Drehzahl halten, also lautet der übliche Plan: weit springen, auf der Landeschräge aufsetzen und in dem Moment zu bremsen beginnen, in dem beide Räder wieder Erde unter sich haben. Gelingt das, legt sich das Motorrad in die Spurrille und biegt ab. Ziehen Sie zu fest, während die Gabel noch eingefedert ist, hört der Vorderreifen auf zu rollen, der Lenker schlägt zur Seite, und das Motorrad liegt, bevor die Kurve überhaupt begonnen hat.
Die meisten dieser Stürze sind langsam und unspektakulär. Der Fahrer steht auf, hebt die Husqvarna an und sucht nach Schäden, und die beginnen auf der rechten Seite meist am Bremshebel. Ein Hebelblatt, das mit dem Ende voran aufschlägt, kann nahe der Spitze reißen oder sich zum Lenker hin zurückbiegen. Das Gelenk im B8283 soll ihm einen Ausweg bieten: Das Blatt kann beim Aufprall nach vorn klappen und danach wieder in Position gebracht werden, und mit etwas Glück beginnt die nächste Runde mit demselben Hebel und demselben Gefühl unter den Fingern. Das ist eine Möglichkeit, kein Versprechen, und ein ausreichend harter Schlag hinterlässt trotzdem seine Spuren.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Anwendungsliste nennt den B8283 für drei Versionsgruppen der Husqvarna FC 250: 2014 bis 2015, 2016 bis 2020 und 2022. Das Modelljahr 2021 fehlt in dieser Liste, deshalb wird der Hebel dafür nicht angeboten. Er passt an den originalen Vorderradbremszylinder, anstelle des Serienhebels. Auf der Kupplungsseite nimmt die FC 250 je nach Baujahr einen von zwei Accossato-Hebeln auf: den C7283 für 2014, 2015 und 2022 oder den C7284 für 2016 bis 2020. Von den dreien gibt es nur den C7283 auch in Rot.
Straßenzulassung
Für den B8283 ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert. Er wird für Motocross-Strecken und anderes abgesperrtes Gelände verkauft, also für das Terrain, auf dem die FC 250 ohnehin gefahren werden soll.
