Auf der Landstraße beginnt ein Überholmanöver mit der Tiger Sport 1050, lange bevor Sie ausscheren. Sie prüfen die Straße vor sich, wählen die Lücke und schalten einen Gang herunter, damit der Dreizylinder bereit ist, kräftig anzuziehen. Dieses Herunterschalten geschieht, während Ihre Augen anderswo beschäftigt sind, und deshalb sollte der Kupplungshebel kein Suchen erfordern. Der Accossato EST333P ist ein gefräster Aluminium-Kupplungshebel für die Tiger Sport 1050 von 2017 bis 2020. Er passt an die originale Kupplungsaufnahme, und seine Griffweite lässt sich so weit heranholen, dass ein schneller Zug ohne Umgreifen gelingt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Aus einem massiven Aluminiumrohling gefräst und danach eloxiert, ist der EST333P an der Nabe schwarz und entlang des Blatts farbig. Schnelle Gangwechsel bringen kurze, harte Lasten in einen Kupplungshebel, und ein gefrästes Blatt ohne Gelenk nimmt sie auf, ohne zu federn oder an einem Scharnier Spiel zu entwickeln. Der Einsteller sitzt neben dem Drehpunkt in der schwarzen Nabe, wo Ihre Finger ihn mitten in einem Schaltvorgang nicht verstellen können. Da die eloxierte Oberfläche Teil des Metalls ist, behält sie ihre Farbe auch unter dem ständigen leichten Reiben eines Motorradhandschuhs.
Zurückschalten zum Überholen
Ein gutes Überholmanöver ist vor allem Vorbereitung. Wenn die Straße vor Ihnen frei ist, wollen Sie in dem Gang sein, der den kräftigsten Durchzug bietet, und auf einer Tiger Sport 1050 bedeutet das oft einen oder zwei Gänge tiefer als der, in dem Sie gerade dahingerollt sind. Das Herunterschalten sollte schnell und sauber sein: Hebel ziehen, Gang wählen, Kupplung sanft kommen lassen, damit das Motorrad nicht genau dann nach vorn nickt, wenn Sie beschleunigen wollen. Liegt das Blatt gut erreichbar, schaffen zwei Finger das, ohne dass der Rest der Hand den Griff loslässt, und Ihre Aufmerksamkeit bleibt beim Gegenverkehr statt bei Ihrer linken Hand. Das kurze Blatt passt zu Fahrern, die gern mit zwei Fingern schalten, das Standardblatt fühlt sich dem Original am ähnlichsten an, und das lange macht den Zug leichter. Welches Sie auch wählen, stellen Sie die Griffweite in Ihrer normalen Fahrhaltung ein und nicht neben dem Motorrad stehend.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt diesen Kupplungshebel für die Tiger Sport 1050 von 2017 bis 2020, mit den Versionen Tiger 1050 und Tiger 1050 Sport für diese Jahre; ältere Motorräder deckt er nicht ab. Der Bremshebel EDF014 passt an dieselben Motorräder und laut Accossato auch an die Tiger 1050 von 2007 und 2008. Schwarz und Rot werden nur in Standardlänge gefertigt, Silber gibt es in Standard oder kurz.
Straßenzulassung
Für den EST333P ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert. Er wird als Rennstreckenteil verkauft.
