Den Kupplungshebel näher an den Griff zu holen, ist eine der einfachsten Komfortänderungen an einem Motorrad und eine der wenigen, die danach einen kurzen Test verdient. Der EST333 ist Accossatos CNC-gefräster Aluminium-Kupplungshebel für die Triumph Speed Triple 1050 R von 2012 bis 2015. Er passt an die originale Kupplungsaufnahme, und sein Griffweiteneinsteller bewegt das Blatt für kleinere Hände zum Lenker hin oder für dickere Handschuhe davon weg.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Zwei Farbtöne, ein Stück: Der EST333 wird durch CNC-Fräsen aus Aluminium geformt und eloxiert, schwarz an der Nabe und in Ihrer gewählten Farbe am Blatt. Die Nabe trägt die Lagerbohrung, mit dem Griffweiteneinsteller daneben. Entlang des Blatts ist nichts gelenkig gelagert, es gibt also kein Gelenk, das ausschlagen könnte, und der Schleifpunkt bleibt dort, wo Sie ihn eingestellt haben. Weil beim Eloxieren die äußere Schicht des Metalls selbst gefärbt wird, übersteht die Oberfläche jahrelangen Kontakt mit behandschuhten Fingern ohne die abgegriffenen Stellen, die Lack gern bekommt.
Griffweite und vollständiges Trennen
Holen Sie den EST333 näher an den Griff, verändert sich, wo das Blatt seinen Weg beginnt. Für die meisten Fahrer ist genau das der Sinn, denn die Finger müssen sich nicht mehr strecken. Verändern kann sich aber auch, wie viel Hebelweg bleibt, bevor das Blatt auf Ihre um den Griff gelegten Finger trifft, und eine Kupplung braucht ihren vollen Weg, um vollständig zu trennen. Machen Sie deshalb nach jeder Änderung der Griffweite an der Speed Triple 1050 R einen kurzen Test. Setzen Sie sich bei eingeklapptem Seitenständer auf das Motorrad, mit laufendem Motor und gehaltener Vorderradbremse. Ziehen Sie die Kupplung ganz und legen Sie den ersten Gang ein: Das Motorrad sollte keinen Satz machen und nicht versuchen, gegen die Bremse anzukriechen. Fahren Sie dann langsam über einen leeren Parkplatz, fahren Sie ein paarmal an und halten Sie an, um zu lernen, wo die Kupplung jetzt greift, und prüfen Sie, ob sich im Stand noch der Leerlauf finden lässt. Kriecht das Motorrad oder geht der Leerlauf schwer hinein, stellen Sie das Blatt eine Stufe weiter nach außen oder lassen Sie das Kupplungsspiel prüfen. Fünf Minuten Test bestätigen, dass die neue Einstellung so gut funktioniert, wie sie sich anfühlt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den EST333 für die Speed Triple 1050 R von 2012 bis 2015, an der originalen Kupplungsaufnahme. Die spätere R von 2016 und 2017 hat im Programm einen eigenen Kupplungshebel, den EST333P. Für die Bremsseite deckt der EDF011 dieselben Maschinen von 2012 bis 2015 ab und ist in denselben Farben erhältlich; die R von 2016 und 2017 ist mit dem EDF099 gelistet.
Straßenzulassung
Ohne dokumentierte deutsche ABE wird dieser Kupplungshebel für die Rennstrecke verkauft.
