Ein breiter Lenker bietet viel Hebelwirkung auf die Lenkung, und das ist ein Grund, warum sich die GSX-S1000 auf der Landstraße so leicht platzieren lässt. Dieselbe Hebelwirkung arbeitet gegen Sie, wenn die Arme verspannt sind, denn eine verkrampfte linke Hand gibt jedes Zucken an den Lenker weiter. Entspanntes Fahren beginnt mit Bedienelementen, die die Hand nicht zum Zupacken zwingen, und der Kupplungshebel ist das Bedienelement, das den ganzen Tag unter den linken Fingern liegt. Der ESS035 von Accossato ist ein gefräster Aluminium-Kupplungshebel für die GSX-S1000 von 2015 bis 2020, mit einstellbarer Griffweite und drei Blattlängen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fertigt den ESS035 aus Aluminium, das auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst statt in eine Form gegossen wird, und gibt ihm zum Schluss eine Eloxalschicht. So entsteht ein zweifarbiger Hebel: eine schwarze Nabe um Drehpunkt und Griffweiteneinsteller und ein Blatt in der Farbe Ihrer Wahl. Eine eloxierte Oberfläche ist dicht und hart, deshalb bleibt die Farbe auch nach Regenfahrten und Reinigungen gleichmäßig. Konstruktiv ist der Hebel so einfach, wie ein Hebel sein kann: ein starres Blatt, fest mit seiner Nabe verbunden, ohne Klappmechanismus dazwischen.
Ein lockerer Griff auf der linken Seite
Fahrtrainer sagen gern, man solle den Lenker halten wie einen kleinen Vogel: fest genug, dass er nicht entkommt, sanft genug, dass ihm nichts geschieht. Verspannung in den Armen macht die Lenkung steif und ermüdet den Fahrer, und auf einem Naked Bike ist der linke Arm oft der verspanntere von beiden, weil die Hand an der Kupplung bereit bleiben muss. Ein Hebel, der zu weit weg sitzt, verschlimmert das. Die Finger müssen sich weit öffnen, um ihn zu erreichen, und zum Ausgleich klammert die Handfläche den Griff. Stellen Sie den ESS035 so ein, dass Ihre Finger bei lockerer Hand auf dem Blatt ruhen können, die Handfläche leicht auf dem Griff und das Handgelenk in einer Linie mit dem Unterarm. Den Unterschied merken Sie in den ersten Kurven: Die GSX-S1000 lenkt mit weniger Kraft ein, wenn die Arme locker sind, und die Kupplung ist trotzdem da, sobald Sie sie brauchen. Das lange Blatt mit seinem leichteren Zug passt zu allen, die die linke Hand besonders entspannt halten wollen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den ESS035 für die GSX-S1000 von 2015 bis 2020, mit Einträgen für das Standardmodell, einer eigenen Zeile für 2016 und einer für die Special Edition EVO von 2018 bis 2020. Er ersetzt den Serienhebel an der originalen Kupplungsaufnahme. Der Bremshebel EDF035 ist für die GSX-S1000 von 2015 bis 2021 aufgeführt. Silber gibt es kurz oder in Standardlänge, Schwarz und Rot werden nur als Standardhebel gefertigt.
Straßenzulassung
Für den ESS035 existiert keine dokumentierte deutsche ABE, deshalb verkaufen wir diesen Hebel für die Rennstrecke.
