Ein Sporttourer verbringt überraschend viel seines Lebens geparkt: vor Hotels, an Aussichtspunkten, auf dem Parkplatz eines Strandes im Süden, während sein Besitzer schwimmen ist. Tage mit starker Sonne setzen allem zu, was ihr ausgesetzt ist, von der Sitzbank bis zum Lack, und ein farbiger Hebel ist keine Ausnahme. Der Accossato ESK750 ist ein Kupplungshebel für die Kawasaki Z1000SX von 2017 bis 2019, eloxiert statt lackiert und in sieben Blattfarben erhältlich. Er ist CNC-gefräst aus Aluminium, passt an die originale Kupplungsaufnahme und hat eine einstellbare Griffweite.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die CNC-Fertigung erlaubt es, einen Hebel auf Steifigkeit zu formen, ohne dass er klobig wirkt, und der ESK750 nutzt das: Sein Blatt behält unter einem kräftigen Zug seine Form. Der Griffweiteneinsteller ist nahe am Drehpunkt in die Nabe eingebaut, wo eine kleine Änderung die Blattspitze ein spürbares Stück nach innen oder außen bewegt. Nach dem Fräsen wird der Hebel eloxiert, bei jeder Ausführung schwarz für die Nabe und schwarz, blau, rot, orange, golden, silbern oder grün für das Blatt. Als starrer Hebel hat er kein Klappgelenk, das der Kupplung Spiel hinzufügen könnte.
Geparkt in der Sonne des Südens
Eloxalfarbe sitzt in der Oberfläche des Aluminiums, sie kann also nicht abblättern oder sich ablösen wie Lack, und bei normalem Gebrauch bleibt sie über Jahre gleichmäßig. Was sie verändern kann, ist sehr starke Sonne über lange Zeit: Gefärbte Eloxaloberflächen können nach Jahren im Sonnenlicht etwas heller werden, manche Farbtöne mehr als andere. Steht Ihre Z1000SX in einem sonnigen Klima im Freien, schützt eine atmungsaktive Abdeckung die Hebel zusammen mit Sitzbank und Lack. Die Hitze ist die andere Seite einer Tour in den Süden. Sommerhandschuhe sind dünner, und ein Kupplungshebel, der für Herbsthandschuhe eingestellt ist, sitzt dann weiter entfernt als nötig. Holen Sie den ESK750 auf einer heißen Reise etwas näher heran, damit die Kupplung bei bequem gekrümmten Fingern greift, und drehen Sie ihn wieder heraus, wenn die dickeren Handschuhe zurückkehren. Das lange Blatt, in vier Farben gefertigt, hält den Zug im zähen Verkehr auf dem Weg zur Küste leicht.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Liste nennt den ESK750 für die Z1000SX von 2017, 2018 und 2019. Für dasselbe Motorrad nennt sie außerdem den Kupplungshebel ESK828, mit einem Eintrag für 2011 bis 2019, sodass für die letzten drei Modelljahre zwei Referenzen erscheinen. Vergleichen Sie vor der Bestellung die Form Ihres Originalhebels mit den Fotos beider. Die Vorderradbremse jeder Z1000SX von 2011 bis 2019 bedient der EDF088.
Straßenzulassung
Accossato hat für den ESK750 keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert, deshalb wird der Hebel für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke verkauft.
