Zügiges Fahren auf der CB1100RS bedeutet viele Rückschaltungen vor Kurven, und bei einem Motorrad mit klassischem Vierzylinder-Klang gehört ein sauberes Zurückschalten mit Zwischengas zum Vergnügen. Es ist auch eine Frage der Stabilität, denn ein zu grob eingelegter Gang kann den Hinterreifen stempeln lassen. Der Kupplungshebel steht im Mittelpunkt dieser Technik. Accossatos ESH033, gefertigt für die CB1100RS von 2017 bis 2019, ist ein gefräster Aluminium-Kupplungshebel mit einstellbarer Griffweite und drei Blattlängen zur Wahl.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der ESH033 wird durch CNC-Fräsen aus Aluminium geformt und durch Eloxieren veredelt, das die Nabe schwarz und das Blatt in Ihrer Farbe hinterlässt. Zwischen Nabe und Spitze gibt es kein Gelenk; der Hebel arbeitet als ein einziger starrer Arm, der sich nur am originalen Befestigungspunkt dreht. Ziehen Sie ihn für eine Rückschaltung schnell und lassen ihn einen Sekundenbruchteil später wieder kommen, folgt die Kupplung jeder Bewegung ohne Verzögerung, und der Einkuppelpunkt bleibt genau dort, wo Sie ihn eingestellt haben.
Zwischengas beim Zurückschalten
Ein Zurückschalten mit angeglichener Drehzahl besteht aus einer Handvoll kleiner Bewegungen, die sich überschneiden. Kupplung ziehen, kurz Zwischengas geben, damit die Motordrehzahl zum niedrigeren Gang passt, den Schalthebel drücken und die Kupplung wieder kommen lassen, während die Drehzahl ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Gut gemacht, verzögert das Motorrad sanft über den Motor, ohne Ruck durch den Hinterreifen; schlecht gemacht, wird das Hinterrad ruckartig gebremst und das Fahrwerk nickt. Der Kupplungsteil der Bewegung hängt von Tempo und Präzision ab, und beides fällt schwer, wenn der Hebel weit weg ist. Holen Sie den ESH033 so weit heran, dass zwei oder vier Finger ihn mit einer kurzen, schnellen Bewegung bis zum Griff ziehen können und dass Sie nach Gefühl wissen, wo der Schleifpunkt liegt. Viele Fahrer ziehen nur teilweise, knapp über den Schleifpunkt hinaus, statt den Hebel ganz heranzuziehen; eine auf Ihre Hand eingestellte Griffweite macht diesen Teilzug wiederholbar. Üben Sie auf einer ruhigen Straße, bis Zwischengas und Hebel ohne Nachdenken zusammenarbeiten, und die RS belohnt Sie mit sanfteren Kurveneingängen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato nennt die CB1100RS unter den Motorrädern für den ESH033, und der Hebel passt an die originale Kupplungsaufnahme der RS von 2017 bis 2019. Die Jahre auf Accossatos Liste reichen weiter zurück als das Modell selbst, das Honda zum Modelljahr 2017 einführte, deshalb beschränkt sich dieses Produkt auf die tatsächlichen Produktionsjahre der RS. Dieselbe Referenz gilt für die Standard-CB1100 und die EX, und der passende Bremshebel an der RS ist Accossatos EDF018. Rot und Schwarz werden nur in der Standardlänge gefertigt; für ein kurzes oder langes Blatt wählen Sie Blau, Gold, Grün oder Orange, oder Silber für die kurze Version.
