Der größte Teil der Kupplungsarbeit auf einer XDiavel findet unterhalb von Schritttempo statt. Aus einer Parklücke rollen, den langen Cruiser in einer schmalen Straße wenden, ihn an einer Kreuzung am Hang halten: Jedes Mal entscheidet die linke Hand, wie sanft der Antrieb das Hinterrad erreicht. Der Accossato ESH011 ist ein CNC-gefräster Aluminium-Kupplungshebel für die XDiavel von 2016 bis 2020, montiert an der originalen Kupplungsaufnahme, mit einem Blatt, das Sie näher an den Griff holen oder weiter nach außen stellen können.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der ESH011 ist gefräst, nicht gegossen. Accossato fräst ihn aus Aluminium und eloxiert ihn in zwei Tönen: Die Nabe um den Drehpunkt ist schwarz, das Blatt trägt eine von sieben Farben, nämlich Schwarz, Silber, Rot, Gold, Blau, Orange oder Grün. Die Eloxalschicht ist hart und Teil des Metalls, und das zählt auf der Kupplungsseite, wo eine behandschuhte Hand bei jeder Fahrt viele Male auf das Blatt und wieder davon gleitet. Weil es auf seiner ganzen Länge kein Gelenk gibt, hält der Hebel den Schleifpunkt unter Ihren Fingern an derselben Stelle.
Schritttempo und Anfahren am Berg
Ein langer Radstand und eine niedrige Sitzbank machen die XDiavel in Fahrt ruhig, und sie machen langsame Manöver zu einer Übung in Kupplungsdosierung. Beim Wenden halten Sie die Drehzahl konstant und lassen die Kupplung gerade so weit schleifen, dass das Motorrad auf enger Linie weiterrollt. Lassen Sie sie zu weit kommen, macht es einen Satz nach vorn; ziehen Sie sie zu weit, beginnt es, in die Kurve zu kippen. Das Anfahren am Berg verlangt dieselbe Präzision, wobei die Hinterradbremse das Motorrad hält, während die Kupplung greift. Beides fällt leichter, wenn der Schleifpunkt in bequemer Reichweite liegt und nicht am Ende einer langen Fingerstreckung. Mit dem Einsteller legen Sie diesen Punkt dorthin, wo Ihre Hand am präzisesten arbeitet. Auf der Kupplungsseite verändert auch die Blattlänge den Kraftaufwand. Ein langer ESH011, gefertigt in Blau, Gold, Grün und Orange, lässt sich dank der zusätzlichen Hebelwirkung leichter ziehen, während das kurze Blatt kompakter, aber strammer ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den ESH011 für die Ducati XDiavel von 2016 bis 2020. Der Bremshebel EDF099 für dasselbe Motorrad ist bis 2022 gelistet, eine XDiavel von 2021 oder 2022 ist also nur auf der Bremsseite abgedeckt. Der Kupplungshebel ersetzt den Serienhebel an der originalen Aufnahme. Schwarze und rote Blätter werden nur in Standardlänge gefertigt, Silber in Standard oder kurz. Wenn die Bedienelemente an Ihrem Motorrad nicht original sind, vergleichen Sie sie zuerst mit den Produktfotos.
Straßenzulassung
Für den ESH011 ist keine deutsche Straßenzulassung (ABE) hinterlegt. Er wird für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke verkauft.
