Ein Kupplungshebel ab Werk ist für eine durchschnittliche Hand ausgelegt. Wer kürzere Finger hat, merkt das bei jedem Halt: Das Blatt steht zu weit weg, die Hand muss sich weit öffnen, bevor sie ziehen kann, und nach einer Stunde in der Stadt beginnt der Unterarm zu protestieren. Der Accossato ESD082 ist ein Kupplungshebel für die Monster 821 Stripe von 2014 bis 2019, dessen Abstand zum Griff sich verringern lässt. Er ist aus Aluminium gefräst, zweifarbig eloxiert und wird in drei Blattlängen gefertigt, sodass sich der Hebel an die Hand anpassen lässt und nicht umgekehrt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato stellt den ESD082 durch CNC-Fräsen her und eloxiert das fertige Teil. Die Nabe nimmt den Drehpunkt und den kleinen Einsteller auf und ist immer schwarz. Das Blatt ist der farbige Teil und läuft ohne Unterbrechung von der Nabe bis zur Spitze. Ohne Gelenk und ohne Einzelteile gibt es im Hebel nichts, das Spiel entwickeln könnte, und die Griffweite bleibt genau dort, wo Sie sie eingestellt haben.
Kürzere Finger, Hebel näher am Griff
Die Monster 821 Stripe spricht ganz unterschiedliche Fahrer an, und nicht alle haben große Hände. Steht der Kupplungshebel zu weit ab, greift man ganz natürlich nur mit den Fingerspitzen zu. Das bringt wenig Kraft und macht es schwer, den Schleifpunkt zu halten. Stellen Sie den ESD082 näher ein, trifft stattdessen die Mitte der Finger auf das Blatt. Tun Sie das mit den Handschuhen, die Sie normalerweise tragen: Legen Sie die Hand auf den Griff und drehen Sie dann am Einsteller, bis das Blatt dort sitzt, wo Ihre Finger es umschließen können, ohne dass sich das Handgelenk hebt.
Zu jeder Änderung der Griffweite gehören zwei Kontrollen. Ziehen Sie erstens bei laufendem Motor und eingelegtem Gang den Hebel ganz durch und achten Sie darauf, dass das Motorrad nicht nach vorn kriecht. Prüfen Sie zweitens, dass das Blatt Ihre Finger am Griff nicht berührt, bevor es das Ende seines Wegs erreicht. Passt beides, stimmt die Einstellung.
Die Länge ist die zweite Entscheidung. Ein längeres Blatt bietet mehr Hebelwirkung und einen leichteren Zug und wird in Blau, Grün, Orange und Gold gefertigt. Das kurze hält den Hebel kompakt und passt zur Bedienung mit zwei Fingern.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den ESD082 für die Monster 821 Stripe von 2014 bis 2019 und nennt die Versionen 2014 bis 2017 und 2018 bis 2019. An beiden tritt er an die Stelle des originalen Kupplungshebels. Auf der rechten Seite lässt sich die Monster 821 Stripe mit Accossatos Bremshebel EDB012 ausstatten.
