Kaum etwas fordert die Kupplungshand so sehr wie eine Passstraße, die man mit beladenem Motorrad hinauffährt. Die Kehren bergauf sind langsam, steil und eng, und jede verlangt, die Kupplung gerade so weit schleifen zu lassen, dass die Hyperstrada 821 in Bewegung bleibt, ohne abzuwürgen oder nach vorn zu springen. Der Accossato ESD082 tritt an die Stelle des Kupplungshebels der Hyperstrada 821 von 2013 bis 2015. Er ist aus Aluminium gefräst, und seine Griffweite lässt sich so einstellen, dass der Schleifpunkt dort liegt, wo Ihre Finger am kräftigsten sind.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Einen Enduro-Weltmeistertitel, wie ihn Accossato 1985 gewann, holt man sich in langsamem, schwierigem Gelände ebenso wie bei hohem Tempo, und Kupplungskontrolle gehört zu diesem Handwerk. Die Kupplungshebel des Unternehmens werden heute auf CNC-Maschinen aus massivem Aluminium gefräst und eloxiert. Beim ESD082 ist das drehpunktseitige Ende schwarz, das Blatt wird nach Bestellung eingefärbt. Der Hebel ist starr, ein festes Stück vom Drehpunkt bis zur Spitze, sodass der Schleifpunkt, den Sie in der ersten Kehre finden, auch in der letzten an derselben Stelle liegt.
Kehren bergauf
In einer steilen Kehre fällt die Hyperstrada 821 auf Schritttempo, während die Straße nach oben kippt und der Lenker Richtung Anschlag einschlägt. Gas, Kupplung und Hinterradbremse arbeiten zusammen: Der Motor wird knapp über Leerlauf gehalten, die Kupplung schleift, um den Antrieb zu dosieren, und die Hinterradbremse nimmt Tempo heraus. Die feinste Arbeit leistet dabei die Kupplungshand, die mehrere Sekunden am Stück eine Position in der Mitte des Hebelwegs hält.
Steht das Blatt zu weit ab, liegt diese Position nahe am Ende der Reichweite der Finger, wo die Kontrolle am schwächsten ist. Stellen Sie es näher, rückt der Schleifpunkt in den Bereich, in dem die Finger kräftig und präzise sind. Mit Gepäck an Bord bieten das Standard- oder das lange Blatt die meiste Hebelwirkung für diese anhaltende Arbeit.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der ESD082 ist für die Hyperstrada 821 von 2013 bis 2015 aufgeführt. Accossato stellt ihm den Bremshebel EDB012 für dasselbe Motorrad und dieselben Jahre zur Seite, beide mit schwarzer Nabe und in denselben sieben Farben. Straßenzulassung
Da keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert ist, wird dieser Hebel ausschließlich für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke verkauft.
