Viele Besitzer einer Hypermotard 821 montieren früher oder später einen anderen Lenker, für eine andere Kröpfung, eine tiefere oder höhere Position oder einfach, weil der Originallenker bei einem Umfaller gelitten hat. Jeder Lenkerwechsel verändert den Winkel, in dem die Hand auf die Hebel trifft, und die Kupplung bemerken Sie zuerst, weil die linke Hand sie bei jedem Gangwechsel und jedem Halt betätigt. Der ESD082 von Accossato ist ein aus Aluminium gefräster Kupplungshebel für die Hypermotard 821 und 821 SP von 2013 bis 2015, und seine Griffweite lässt sich an die neue Position anpassen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Dass der ESD082 zweifarbig eloxiert ist, hat einen praktischen Grund. Die Nabe sitzt direkt an der Kupplungsaufnahme und den Schaltereinheiten, deshalb ist sie bei jedem Hebel schwarz und fügt sich in die Teile um sie herum ein. Nur das Blatt, der Teil, den Sie sehen und berühren, trägt eine Farbe. Darunter steckt ein Hebel aus Aluminium, auf CNC-Maschinen aus dem Vollen gefräst, mit dem Griffweiteneinsteller in der Nabe nahe am Drehpunkt und einem Blatt, das als ein starres Stück bis zur Spitze läuft, ohne jedes Klappgelenk.
Nach dem Lenkerwechsel
Ein neuer Lenker an der Hypermotard 821 verändert mehr als die Optik. Ziehen Sie die Griffe nach hinten, werden die Handgelenke gerader; setzen Sie sie tiefer, beugen sich die Ellbogen anders; setzen Sie sie weiter auseinander, öffnen sich die Hände weiter. Jede dieser Änderungen verschiebt die Stelle, an der Ihre Finger ganz natürlich landen, und ein Kupplungshebel, der zum Originallenker passte, fühlt sich plötzlich vielleicht etwas zu weit weg oder zu nah an. Um diesen Abstand kümmert sich der Einsteller am ESD082.
Der Winkel des Hebels ist eine eigene Frage. Er wird durch die Position der Kupplungsarmatur am Lenker bestimmt und lässt sich am einfachsten korrigieren, während der neue Lenker montiert wird. Ziel ist ein Hebel, der in Ihrer normalen Fahrposition die Linie Ihres Unterarms fortsetzt. Probieren Sie dann vor der ersten richtigen Fahrt in einer ruhigen Straße ein paar langsame Anfahrten, denn der Schleifpunkt fühlt sich anders an, bis die Hand ihn neu gelernt hat.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt diesen Hebel für die Hypermotard 821 und die Hypermotard 821 SP von 2013 bis 2015. Für die Vorderradbremse brauchen die beiden Versionen unterschiedliche Accossato-Hebel: den EDB012 für das Standardmodell, aufgeführt für 2013 bis 2016, und den EDD001 für die SP. Die Bremsenliste reicht damit ein Jahr weiter als dieser Kupplungshebel, und für eine Hypermotard 821 von 2016 nennt Accossato nur den Bremshebel.
Straßenzulassung
Für dieses Teil ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert. Es wird für den Einsatz auf abgesperrten Strecken angeboten.
