APRC steht für Aprilia Performance Ride Control, das Elektronikpaket, das der Tuono V4 R APRC Traktionskontrolle, Wheelie-Kontrolle, einen Quickshifter und eine Launch Control brachte. Die Launch Control betrifft die Kupplung am unmittelbarsten, und für Fahrer, die mit dem Motorrad Clubrennen fahren oder an organisierten Starttrainings teilnehmen, macht sie den linken Hebel zu einem Teil des Performance-Pakets. Der Accossato ESV004 ist ein Kupplungshebel für die Tuono V4 R APRC von 2011 bis 2016, aus Aluminium gefräst und eloxiert, mit einstellbarer Griffweite, und er wird an der originalen Kupplungsaufnahme des Motorrads montiert.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der ESV004 wird aus einem massiven Aluminiumrohling gefräst. Das gibt dem Blatt saubere Kanten und einen gleichmäßigen Querschnitt statt der weicheren Konturen eines Gussteils. Anschließend färbt ihn das Eloxieren: schwarz für die Nabe mit Drehpunkt und Griffweiten-Einsteller und die Farbe Ihrer Wahl für das Blatt. Nabe und Blatt bilden ein starres Stück. Für die Arbeit an der Kupplung heißt das: Der Einkuppelpunkt ist jedes Mal an derselben Hebelposition zu spüren, ohne ein Klappgelenk, das eine eigene Bewegung hinzufügt.
Launch Control und die linke Hand
Die Launch Control der Tuono V4 R APRC kümmert sich um Drehzahl und Leistungsabgabe, während der Fahrer die Kupplung bedient, und die Elektronik kann nur mit dem arbeiten, was ihr die linke Hand liefert. Ein guter Start hängt weiterhin von einem Einkuppeln ab, das schnell, sanft und jedes Mal gleich ist. Üblich ist, zuerst den Schleifpunkt zu finden, ihn einen Augenblick zu halten, während sich das Motorrad in Bewegung setzt, und den Hebel dann progressiv freizugeben, statt ihn schnalzen zu lassen. Um das exakt zu wiederholen, muss der Hebel Ihre Finger an derselben Stelle treffen, und genau dabei hilft die einstellbare Griffweite. Stellen Sie sie mit Rennhandschuhen ein, damit das Einkuppeln bei gebeugten statt gestreckten Fingern beginnt. Das kurze Blatt, gefertigt in Blau, Gold, Grün, Orange und Silber, lässt zwei Finger den Hebel bedienen, während zwei um den Griff bleiben, eine Haltung, die viele Rennfahrer beim Start nutzen. Üben Sie nur dort, wo es erlaubt ist, auf einer abgesperrten Strecke mit Zustimmung des Veranstalters, und niemals auf öffentlicher Straße.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den ESV004 für die Tuono-V4-R-Generation von 2011 bis 2016 unter den Namen Tuono 1000 V4 R, RSV 1000 Tuono V4 R und Tuono 1000 Factory. Er wird anstelle des Serienteils an der originalen Kupplungsaufnahme der Tuono V4 R APRC montiert. Für die Bremsseite gibt es einen eigenen Accossato-Hebel, den EDB080, für dieselben Jahre. Schwarze und rote Blätter werden nur in Standardlänge gefertigt, Silber in Standard oder kurz.
Straßenzulassung
Für den ESV004 gibt es keine dokumentierte deutsche ABE, der Hebel wird nur für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke angeboten.
