Eine Monster 796 trägt ihre Konstruktion offen zur Schau. Gitterrohrrahmen und luftgekühlter Zweiventil-Zweizylinder mit seinen verrippten Zylindern liegen frei, und hinter Verkleidungsteilen verbirgt sich wenig. Accossatos Klapp-Kupplungshebel LV010 passt zu dieser Offenheit, besonders in der RST-Version mit einer Erleichterungsaussparung durch das Blatt. Er passt an den originalen Kupplungs-Geberzylinder der Monster 796 von 2011 bis 2015, sein Abstand zum Griff lässt sich einstellen, und sein Blatt ist über ein Gelenk mit einer schwarzen Basis verbunden.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fräst den LV010 auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium und eloxiert beide Teile. Die Basis, stets schwarz, sitzt am Drehpunkt und trägt den Griffweiteneinsteller. Das Hebelblatt ist über ein Gelenk mit ihr verbunden und trägt eine von sieben Farben. Das Unternehmen hat seinen Sitz in Villastellone bei Turin, in einem Werk, das für CNC-Bearbeitung ausgerüstet ist und über Schmiedepressen verfügt. Bei diesem Hebel prägt vor allem eine Entscheidung das Aussehen: ob das Blatt die RST-Aussparung hat.
Offener Rahmen, offenes Blatt
Die RST-Option ist die sichtbarste Wahl, die Sie bei der Bestellung dieses Hebels treffen. Accossato fräst eine Öffnung in das Blatt, vom Hersteller als Erleichterungsaussparung bezeichnet, und das Ergebnis ist ein Hebel, durch den man Tageslicht sieht. An vielen Motorrädern ist das ein Detail. An einer Monster 796, an der Rahmenrohre und Zylinderrippen zeigen, wie die Maschine gebaut ist, passt es zur Formensprache des ganzen Motorrads.
Bleiben Sie beim Gewicht realistisch: Die Aussparung entfernt eine kleine Menge Aluminium, und beim Fahren werden Sie den Unterschied nicht spüren. Die Gründe für RST sind vor allem optischer Natur; die Gründe für NRST sind eine schlichtere Oberfläche und eine Öffnung weniger, in der sich Schmutz sammeln kann. So oder so hängt das Blatt am selben Gelenk und kann daher wegklappen, wenn die Monster 796 auf ihre linke Seite kippt, die Seite, zu der sie sich auf dem Ständer neigt. Zusammen mit dem LV011 auf der Bremsseite erscheint die Aussparung an beiden Enden des Lenkers.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Laut Accossato deckt der LV010 die Monster 796 von 2011 bis 2015 ab, und zu den Einträgen hinter diesem Zeitraum gehören die Anniversary-Edition von 2013 und mehrere in Thailand gebaute Versionen. Er ersetzt den originalen Kupplungshebel. Der LV011 ist der Klapphebel für die Bremsseite desselben Motorrads, während Accossatos starrer Kupplungshebel ESD022 für die Monster 796 von 2010 bis 2015 gelistet ist.
