Die R1M ist die Version von Yamahas Superbike, die Besitzer gern lange behalten. Elektronisch einstellbares Fahrwerk, eine Verkleidung aus Kohlefaser und ein Datenlogger heben sie von der Standard-R1 ab, und viele werden mit der Sorgfalt von Sammlern gepflegt. Der Accossato LV020 ist ein Klapp-Bremshebel für die R1M von 2015 bis 2020, gefertigt für den originalen Radial-Bremszylinder. Er ersetzt nur den Hebel, sodass das Serienteil in einer Schublade verschwinden und dort in gutem Zustand bleiben kann.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossatos Erfahrung mit Bremsen stammt aus Bremsscheiben, die für Superbike, Moto2 und Moto3 entwickelt wurden, ein passender Hintergrund für ein Teil an einem Motorrad wie der R1M. Der LV020 selbst ist einfacher als eine Bremsscheibe: zwei Teile, beide auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräst und eloxiert. Die schwarze Basis übernimmt am Drehpunkt des Radial-Bremszylinders die Stelle des Serienhebels und trägt den Griffweiteneinsteller. Das Hebelblatt, in einer von acht Farben, ist so mit ihr verbunden, dass es wegklappen kann. Es wird in einer Standardlänge gefertigt, mit oder ohne RST-Öffnung.
Das Original in die Schublade
Besitzer besonderer Modelle denken an Originalität. Viele, die eine R1M umbauen, behalten jedes Teil, das sie abbauen, beschriftet und eingelagert, damit das Motorrad in den Serienzustand zurückversetzt werden kann, wenn es verkauft wird oder wenn sie es sich einfach anders überlegen. Ein Bremshebel ist ein Teil, das sich so leicht handhaben lässt. Der LV020 tritt allein an die Stelle des Hebels, und das Serienteil kann eingewickelt und mit dem Rest weggelegt werden: Notieren Sie, von welchem Motorrad es stammt, und bewahren Sie es trocken auf. Das Klappblatt liefert ein weiteres Argument dafür, mit dem Accossato-Hebel statt mit dem Original zu fahren. Ein Hebel, der bei einem Umfaller wegklappen kann, verringert die Gefahr eines Schadens, und wenn doch etwas passiert, dann am Ersatz und nicht an einem Teil, das zur Geschichte der R1M gehört. Wenn es Zeit zum Verkaufen ist, lässt sich das Motorrad mit wieder montiertem Originalhebel und dem LV020 als Zugabe anbieten oder umgekehrt, ganz wie es der Käufer bevorzugt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den LV020 für die R1M von 2015 bis 2020 unter dem Eintrag YZF 1000 R1 M, für den originalen Radial-Bremszylinder. Der LV022 ist für dieselben Jahre als zweite Klapp-Option gelistet. Accossato führt die R1M als eigenen Eintrag, getrennt von der Standard-R1, wählen Sie also das Produkt, das Ihr Modell nennt.
Straßenzulassung
Wir können für diesen Hebel keine deutsche ABE vorweisen, deshalb wird die R1M-Version des LV020 für den Rennstreckeneinsatz verkauft.
