Die RC8 war KTMs erstes Superbike, ein V-Zweizylinder mit scharfkantiger Verkleidung, den viele Besitzer lieber auf die Rennstrecke bringen, als ihn in der Garage stehen zu lassen. Dorthin kommt sie meist im Transporter oder auf dem Anhänger, und genau auf dieser Fahrt kann ein Klapphebel seinen Wert beweisen, bevor die erste Session überhaupt begonnen hat. Der Accossato LV012 ist ein Klapp-Bremshebel für die RC8 1190, gelistet von 2008 bis 2015. Er passt an den originalen Bremszylinder, ist in der Griffweite einstellbar und besteht aus einer schwarzen Basis und einem farbigen Blatt, das am Gelenk zwischen beiden wegklappen kann.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der LV012 wird auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräst und zweifarbig eloxiert. Die Basis, in jedem Fall schwarz, sitzt am Hebeldrehpunkt und trägt den Griffweiteneinsteller. Das Hebelblatt wird separat in Schwarz, Blau, Gold, Grün, Orange, Rot oder Silber eloxiert und ist über das Gelenk, das ihm das Wegklappen erlaubt, an der Basis befestigt. Eine eloxierte Oberfläche ist hart und blättert nicht ab wie Lack, und das passt zu einem Teil, das jedes Mal angefasst wird, wenn das Motorrad verladen, abgeladen oder durchs Fahrerlager geschoben wird.
Festgezurrt im Transporter
Ratschengurte und Lenker haben ein schwieriges Verhältnis. Um eine RC8 1190 im Transporter aufrecht zu halten, wird üblicherweise die Vorderradfederung mit Gurten zusammengezogen, die vom Lenker oder von der unteren Gabelbrücke zu Zurrpunkten im Boden laufen. Der Bremshebel sitzt direkt neben der Stelle, an der Haken und weiche Schlaufen angesetzt werden, und ein leicht schräg festgezogener Gurt kann auf das Blatt drücken. Häufiger entsteht der Schaden, wenn sich unterwegs etwas verschiebt: Ein Gurt lockert sich auf einer langen Autobahnfahrt, das Motorrad lehnt sich gegen eine Seitenwand oder eine Werkzeugkiste, und der Hebel nimmt die Last auf. Ein Klappblatt hat in diesem Moment Raum zum Ausweichen, was die Gefahr verringert, mit verbogenem Hebel anzukommen und eine Session zu verpassen. Klappen Sie das Blatt nach dem Abladen zurück in seine Arbeitsposition und prüfen Sie es, bevor Sie losfahren. Das Verladen bleibt natürlich Sache des Fahrers; führen Sie die Gurte, wo immer möglich, von beiden Hebeln weg, und sehen Sie sich das Blatt unterwegs bei jedem Tankstopp erneut an.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den LV012 für die RC8 1190 von 2008 bis 2015, montiert am originalen Vorderradbremszylinder. Für dieselben Jahre ergänzt der RA001 die Klappkonstruktion um einen 90-Grad-Fernversteller. Accossato fertigt außerdem starre Hebel für diese KTM: den Bremshebel EDF099, gelistet von 2009 bis 2016, und auf der Kupplungsseite den ESM011, gelistet von 2008 bis 2016.
Straßenzulassung
Für den LV012 ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert; in unserem Sortiment ist er ein Produkt für die Rennstrecke.
