Ein Trackday, der auf nasser Strecke beginnt und auf trockener endet, verlangt am selben Nachmittag zwei verschiedene Arten zu bremsen, und ein Fahrer der Speed Triple 1050 muss sich durch beide arbeiten. Accossatos RA001 ist ein Klapp-Bremshebel für die Speed Triple 1050 von 2010 bis 2015 mit 90-Grad-Fernversteller. Accossato hat diesen Versteller für den Rennbetrieb konstruiert: Die Hebeleinstellung lässt sich mit der linken Hand ändern, während die rechte am Gas bleibt, ohne Halt in der Boxengasse. Der Hebel passt an den originalen Bremszylinder.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Abgesehen vom Fernversteller ist der RA001 gebaut wie Accossatos andere Klapphebel. Eine auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräste und schwarz eloxierte Basis trägt den Drehpunkt, und ein Hebelblatt in der Farbe Ihrer Wahl ist über ein Gelenk mit ihr verbunden, das es wegklappen lässt. Der Versteller fügt ein zweites Bedienelement in Reichweite der linken Hand hinzu, geliefert mit einem Halter in 35 mm oder 60 mm, für den Sie sich bei der Bestellung entscheiden. Das Blatt gibt es nur in Standardlänge, mit der RST-Erleichterungsaussparung oder als geschlossene NRST-Version.
Eine abtrocknende Linie
Im Nassen bremsen die meisten Fahrer früher und sanfter und bauen den Druck langsam auf, damit der Vorderreifen nie überrascht wird. Manche mögen das Blatt dafür etwas weiter außen, andere näher am Lenker. So oder so fühlt sich die Einstellung, die zu einer feuchten Strecke passt, oft falsch an, sobald eine trockene Linie auftaucht. Auf einer Speed Triple 1050 mit ihrer aufrechten Sitzposition und dem breiten Lenker kommt diese Veränderung Runde für Runde: zuerst ein hellerer Streifen auf der Ideallinie, dann ganze Kurven mit wieder vorhandenem Grip. Mit einem normalen Hebel beenden Sie die Session entweder mit der alten Einstellung oder verlieren Zeit in der Boxengasse. Mit dem Fernversteller des RA001 nehmen Sie die Änderung auf einer Geraden vor, wobei die linke Hand kurz den Lenker verlässt, während die rechte das Gas ruhig hält. Halten Sie jede Anpassung klein und nehmen Sie sie mit aufrechtem Motorrad vor. Die nächste Bremszone sollte nicht das erste Mal sein, dass Sie die neue Position spüren, testen Sie sie also am Ende der Geraden behutsam, bevor Sie sich darauf verlassen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den RA001 für die Speed Triple 1050 von 2010 bis 2015, wo er an die Stelle des Bremshebels am originalen Bremszylinder tritt. Wenn Sie die Einstellung lieber am Hebel selbst behalten möchten, ist der LV012 der Klapp-Bremshebel für dieselben Jahre der Speed Triple, ohne Fernversteller.
Straßenzulassung
Unsere Unterlagen zeigen keine deutsche ABE für diesen Hebel mit Fernversteller, deshalb wird er für den Rennstreckeneinsatz verkauft.
