Ein Rennen auf einer Panigale V4 R wird in jeder Runde an denselben Bremspunkten gewonnen und verloren, und die Bremse fühlt sich bei der Zielflagge womöglich nicht mehr so an wie in der Startaufstellung. Der Accossato RA002 ist ein Klapp-Bremshebel mit 90-Grad-Fernversteller, gemacht für genau diese Situation. Accossato hat den Versteller so konstruiert, dass der Fahrer die Hebeleinstellung mit der linken Hand ändern kann, ohne das Gas loszulassen und ohne an die Box zu kommen. Er passt an den originalen Bremszylinder der V4 R von 2019.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die Farbe des RA002 ist keine Lackschicht. Nach dem Fräsen werden die Aluminiumteile eloxiert, ein Verfahren, bei dem eine Oxidschicht aus dem Metall selbst herauswächst und den Farbstoff aufnimmt, sodass es keinen Film gibt, der an den Kanten abblättern könnte. Für das Hebelblatt werden sieben Farben angeboten; die Basis, die den Drehpunkt trägt und über ein Gelenk mit dem Blatt verbunden ist, ist immer schwarz. Der Hebel besteht aus CNC-gefrästem Aluminium und kommt als Set mit seinem Fernversteller. Accossato bietet zwei Haltergrößen an, 35 mm und 60 mm.
Vom Start bis zur Zielflagge
Über eine volle Renndistanz arbeitet die Vorderradbremse eines Superbikes bei jedem harten Stopp schwer, und es ist üblich, dass Fahrer spät im Rennen eine andere Hebeleinstellung wünschen als die, die sie in der Startaufstellung gewählt haben. Was sich ändert und wie stark, hängt von Motorrad, Strecke und Fahrer ab. Mit dem RA002 muss die Antwort nicht mehr bis zur nächsten Session warten. Auf einer Geraden, die rechte Hand am Gas und das Motorrad stabil, greift die linke Hand zum Versteller, ändert die Einstellung ein wenig und kehrt vor der nächsten Bremszone an den Lenker zurück. Genau dafür hat Accossato ihn gebaut: zum Verstellen während des Rennens, ohne Stopp an der Box.
Die Bremsseite des Rennsports kennt das Unternehmen auch von einem anderen Produkt, denn seine Erfahrung mit Bremsscheiben stammt aus der Superbike-Klasse, der Moto2 und der Moto3. Für einen Fahrer der V4 R macht der Fernversteller aus der Hebeleinstellung, einer einmal in der Garage getroffenen Entscheidung, etwas, das dem Rennverlauf folgen kann.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den RA002 für die Panigale V4 R von 2019 unter der Referenz 998 R. Für dasselbe Motorrad fertigt Accossato außerdem zwei Klapphebel ohne Fernversteller, den LV013 für die Bremse und den LV015 für die Kupplung, beide für 2019 gelistet. Der RA002 ersetzt den Bremshebel, an der V4 R würden Sie ihn also mit dem LV015 auf der Kupplungsseite kombinieren und nicht mit dem LV013.
Straßenzulassung
Für den RA002 liegt keine deutsche ABE vor. Er ist ein Rennsportteil, und wir verkaufen ihn für den Einsatz auf abgesperrten Rennstrecken.
