Auf einer Panigale 1299 S, einem Motorrad für schnelle Rennstrecken, heißt das: genau zu wissen, an welcher Stelle der Runde Ihre linke Hand frei ist und wie groß die Änderung sein soll. Accossatos RA002 ist ein Klapp-Bremshebel für die 1299 S von 2015 bis 2018 mit 90-Grad-Fernversteller, dafür ausgelegt, dass sich die Hebeleinstellung während der Fahrt ändern lässt, ohne das Gas loszulassen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der Hebel des RA002 hat den zweiteiligen Aufbau der Accossato-Klapphebel, eine schwarz eloxierte Basis und ein Blatt an einem Gelenk, beide aus Aluminium gefräst. Das Hebelblatt gibt es in sieben Farben, von Schwarz und Silber bis Orange und Grün, mit oder ohne RST-Erleichterungsaussparung. Der 90-Grad-Fernversteller kommt mit einem Halter in 35 mm oder 60 mm, eine Wahl, die Sie bei der Bestellung treffen.
Die richtige Gerade wählen
Setzen Sie sich vor der ersten Session in der Garage in Fahrposition auf die Panigale 1299 S und üben Sie, mit der linken Hand zum Fernversteller zu greifen. Tun Sie es mit Ihren Motorradhandschuhen und mit geschlossenen Augen. Das klingt übertrieben, doch auf der Strecke haben Sie höchstens ein oder zwei Sekunden, und bei hohem Tempo nach dem Versteller zu tasten, ist nichts, was man erst am Tag selbst herausfinden möchte.
Wählen Sie dann die Stelle auf der Runde. Die längste Gerade ist der naheliegende Kandidat, idealerweise eine, auf der das Motorrad aufrecht und stabil fährt und die linke Hand nichts anderes zu tun hat. Ändern Sie die Einstellung um einen kleinen Betrag, fahren Sie eine Runde, beurteilen Sie das Ergebnis in den Bremszonen, die Sie gut kennen, und entscheiden Sie erst dann über den nächsten Schritt. Die 1299 S gibt ihrem Fahrer genug zu denken; der Fernversteller sollte zur Routine werden, nicht zu einer weiteren Ablenkung. Und endet eine Runde im Kies, hat das gelenkig gelagerte Blatt eine Chance, wegzuklappen, statt abzubrechen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der RA002 ist für die Panigale 1299 S von 2015 bis 2018 gelistet, die brasilianische Version eingeschlossen, und ersetzt den Hebel am originalen Bremszylinder. Für die Kupplungsseite führt Accossato für diese Jahre nur seinen starren ESH011, und der starre EDF099 ist die alternative Bremshebel-Lösung für Fahrer, die keinen Fernversteller brauchen.

Für diesen Hebel ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert; wir verkaufen ihn für den Rennstreckeneinsatz.
