Im Langstreckensport kann eine RSV4 im selben Rennen von zwei oder drei Fahrern gefahren werden, jeder mit einer eigenen Vorstellung davon, wo ein Bremshebel hingehört, und ein Fahrerwechsel lässt keine Zeit für Einstellarbeiten. Der Accossato RA001 löst das mit seinem 90-Grad-Fernversteller, wie Accossato ihn nennt: Der Fahrer ändert die Hebeleinstellung während der Fahrt mit der linken Hand, die rechte Hand bleibt am Gas, und niemand muss in der Boxengasse den Hebel anfassen. Dieser Klapp-Bremshebel passt an den originalen Bremszylinder der RSV4 von 2011 bis 2018.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der RA001 kombiniert einen Klapphebel mit einem Versteller, der abseits des Hebels selbst sitzt. Der Hebel ist auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräst und eloxiert. Am Hebel trägt eine schwarze Basis den Drehpunkt und ist über ein Gelenk mit dem farbigen Blatt verbunden; der Versteller sitzt dort, wo die linke Hand ihn erreicht. Accossato bietet den Halter für den Versteller in 35 mm oder 60 mm an. Das Hebelblatt wird in sieben Eloxalfarben gefertigt, entweder mit der Erleichterungsaussparung der RST-Version oder ohne sie.
Fahrerwechsel ohne Kompromiss
Langstreckenteams, die eine RSV4 einsetzen, einigen sich meist auf ein gemeinsames Setup, doch manches bleibt persönlich, und der Bremshebel gehört dazu. Ein Fahrer bremst mit zwei Fingern und will das Blatt nah am Griff; ein anderer nimmt drei und hat es lieber weiter außen. Bei einem herkömmlichen Hebel einigt sich das Team entweder auf einen Kompromiss, oder jemand verstellt ihn während des Stopps, was Zeit kostet. Mit dem RA001 kann der übernehmende Fahrer mit der vorherigen Einstellung aus der Boxengasse fahren und sie auf der ersten Geraden ändern, die linke Hand am Versteller, die rechte am Gas. Dasselbe gilt später in einem Turn, wenn die Bremsen eine Stunde lang hart gearbeitet haben und sich der Hebel womöglich nicht mehr so anfühlt wie zu Beginn. Der Fernversteller macht aus solchen Änderungen etwas, das auf der Strecke erledigt wird, statt auf die Boxenmauer zu warten.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der RA001 erscheint in Accossatos Liste für die RSV4 in jedem Jahr von 2011 bis 2018: die RSV4 R APRC von 2011 bis 2014, die Factory APRC von 2011 und 2012, die Racing Factory LE von 2015 bis 2017 und die Racing Factory von 2018. Anders als beim Klapphebel LV012, dessen Eintrag 2013 und 2014 auslässt, deckt die Version mit Fernversteller jedes Jahr dieses Zeitraums ab. Da sie den Bremshebel ersetzt, ist sie eine Alternative zum LV012, keine Ergänzung.
Straßenzulassung
Der RA001 ist ein Rennsportteil ohne dokumentierte deutsche ABE, und wir verkaufen ihn für den Rennstreckeneinsatz.
