Ob es die erste Ducati ist oder die fünfte: Die ersten Monate mit einer Monster 795 sind eine Zeit des gegenseitigen Kennenlernens. Der luftgekühlte Zweiventil-Zweizylinder und die vertraute Monster-Silhouette machen sie zugänglich, doch jedes neue Motorrad hat im Schritttempo seine eigene Balance, und ein paar ungeschickte Momente gehören dazu, bis man sie kennt. Der Accossato LV011 ist ein klappbarer Vorderradbremshebel für die Monster 795 von 2013 bis 2015, in der Griffweite einstellbar und aus Aluminium gefräst, mit einem Blatt, das wegklappen kann, wenn das Motorrad umfällt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Jeder LV011 besteht aus zwei Aluminiumteilen, die auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst und eloxiert werden. Eine schwarze Basis umschließt den Drehpunkt und trägt den Einsteller, und ein Gelenk verbindet sie mit dem Hebelblatt, das in einer von sieben Farben eloxiert ist. Wer die RST-Version bestellt, bekommt ein Blatt mit Erleichterungsaussparung; die NRST-Version bleibt geschlossen. Accossato, 1969 in Moncalieri bei Turin als Hersteller von Wettbewerbsmotorrädern gegründet, bietet den Hebel für den originalen Bremszylinder der Monster 795 an.
Nachsicht mit den ersten Fehlern
In den ersten Monaten auf einem ungewohnten Motorrad sind Umfaller am wahrscheinlichsten. Der Motor stirbt beim Anfahren am Berg ab, ein Fuß rutscht auf einer Fahrbahnmarkierung weg, in einer engen Kehre reicht der Platz nicht: Nichts davon ist dramatisch, und jedes davon kann eine Monster 795 auf die Seite legen. Fällt sie nach rechts, bekommt oft der Bremshebel den Schlag ab, und ein abgebrochener Hebel macht aus einem peinlichen Moment ein Motorrad, das nicht mehr gefahren werden sollte.
Das Blatt des LV011 ist gelenkig mit seiner Basis verbunden, damit es bei einem solchen Umfaller wegklappen kann, und das verbessert die Chancen, das Motorrad aufzuheben, den Hebel zu prüfen und weiterzufahren. Sein Griffweiteneinsteller hilft auf andere Weise. Fahrer mit kleineren Händen tun sich oft schwer, einen weit vom Griff entfernten Hebel zu erreichen, und ein Hebel, den man näher heranholen kann, lässt sie von Anfang an mit Vertrauen bremsen. Diese Kombination passt zu einer Monster 795, die ihren Fahrer noch kennenlernt, solange niemand das Gelenk als Freibrief für Nachlässigkeit versteht.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die Modelljahre 2013 bis 2015 der Monster 795 deckt der LV011 ab, der an die Stelle des Originalhebels am serienmäßigen Bremszylinder tritt. Für die Kupplungsseite stellt Accossato ihm den LV010 zur Seite, einen Klapp-Kupplungshebel für dieselben Jahre in denselben sieben Farben.
Straßenzulassung
Für den LV011 ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert, daher wird er für den Einsatz auf der Rennstrecke verkauft.
