Die Tiger 800 XR kam 2015 als straßenorientierte Basis der neuen Tiger-800-Baureihe, mit Gussrädern, aufrechter Sitzposition und jener Alltagstauglichkeit, die ein Motorrad zum täglichen Verkehrsmittel macht. Tägliches Verkehrsmittel heißt im Winter Fahren im Dunkeln, morgens und auf dem Heimweg ein zweites Mal. Der Accossato EDF014 ist ein Aluminium-Bremshebel für die XR von 2015 bis 2018. Er passt an den originalen Bremszylinder, und ein Einsteller nahe am Drehpunkt bringt das Blatt genau dorthin, wo Ihre Hand es erwartet, ob Sie es sehen oder nicht.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Jeder EDF014 wird aus massivem Aluminium gefräst und anschließend eloxiert. Die Nabe, bei allen Ausführungen schwarz, nimmt Lagerbohrung und Einsteller auf, das Blatt trägt die Farbe. Das Fräsen aus dem Vollen statt Gießen ergibt saubere Kanten und ein Blatt mit gleichem Querschnitt von einem Ende zum anderen, sodass es sich unter den Fingern gleichmäßig anfühlt, wo immer Ihre Hand es trifft. Ohne jedes Klappgelenk ist der Hebel ein einziges starres Teil, und zwischen Nabe und Spitze kann sich über einen Winter voller nasser Pendelfahrten nichts lockern.
Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit
Nachts schauen Sie nicht auf Ihre Bedienelemente. Der Scheinwerfer zeigt die Straße vor Ihnen, das Cockpit leuchtet, und der Bremshebel liegt irgendwo im Dunkeln vor Ihrer rechten Hand und lässt sich nur ertasten. Damit wird seine Position zur Gewohnheitssache. Sitzt das Blatt dort, wo Ihre Finger von selbst hinfallen, findet die Hand es ohne Suchen, und der Moment zwischen dem Erkennen einer Gefahr und dem Bremsbeginn wird zum Bremsen genutzt. Steht es zu weit ab, geht dieser Moment für das Hingreifen verloren. Stellen Sie die Griffweite an der XR mit den Handschuhen ein, die Sie für die dunklen Pendelfahrten tragen und die im Winter meist dicker sind als Ihr Sommerpaar, und lassen Sie sie dann so: Es kommt darauf an, dass der Hebel jeden Abend an derselben Stelle liegt. Das Standardblatt, das dem Original am nächsten kommt, ist für den Alltag auf der Tiger 800 XR die naheliegende Wahl, während die lange Version behandschuhten Fingern etwas mehr Fläche zum Greifen bietet.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt diesen Hebel für die Tiger 800 XR von 2015 bis 2018. Auf der linken Seite deckt der Kupplungshebel EST333P dieselben Modelljahre ab. Straßenzulassung
