Hängen Sie sich auf einer Speed Triple 1050 R in eine Rechtskurve, wird Ihr rechter Unterarm stark angewinkelt, sodass Ihr Handgelenk den Bremshebel in einem anderen Winkel trifft als auf dem Weg in eine Linkskurve. Der EDF099 ist Accossatos gefräster Aluminium-Bremshebel für die R von 2016 und 2017. Mit seinem Griffweiteneinsteller können Sie nach einer Hebelposition suchen, die auf beiden Seiten des Motorrads funktioniert.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der EDF099 wird auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst und dann eloxiert, ein Verfahren, das die Oberfläche des Aluminiums in eine harte Oxidschicht umwandelt und die Farbe darin einschließt. Das Ergebnis ist ein zweifarbiger Hebel. Seine schwarze Nabe enthält Drehpunkt und Einsteller; sein Blatt zeigt die Farbe, die Sie bestellt haben. Kein Gelenk trennt beide. Als starrer Hebel hält der EDF099 die Verbindung zwischen der Position Ihrer Finger und der Bewegung des Kolbens im Bremszylinder konstant, Turn für Turn.
Hanging-off und die rechte Hand
Hanging-off heißt, die Hüfte zur Kurveninnenseite zu verlagern und den Oberkörper nach unten und zur Seite zu bringen, damit das Motorrad bei gleichem Tempo weniger Schräglage braucht. Die Arme müssen folgen. In einer Linkskurve streckt sich der rechte Arm über den Tank, und das rechte Handgelenk neigt dazu, abzusinken; in einer Rechtskurve beugt sich der rechte Ellbogen und legt sich an, und das Handgelenk dreht sich in die andere Richtung. Weil die Vorderradbremse beim Einlenken oft noch im Einsatz ist, müssen Ihre Finger das Blatt in beiden Positionen finden. Eine sinnvolle Methode ist, den EDF099 auf dem Montageständer einzustellen, in Lederkombi und Rennhandschuhen. Rutschen Sie auf der Sitzbank nach links, dann nach rechts, und achten Sie darauf, wo Ihre Bremsfinger jeweils auf dem Blatt landen. Wählen Sie dann die Griffweite, die in beiden Positionen funktioniert, statt der, die sich richtig anfühlt, wenn Sie in der Boxengasse aufrecht sitzen. An der Speed Triple 1050 R kann sie am Ende etwas näher am Griff liegen als Ihre Einstellung für die Straße.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den EDF099 für die Speed Triple 1050 R ab 2016; da Triumph die R zum Modelljahr 2018 durch die RS ersetzte, deckt dieses Produkt die Maschinen von 2016 und 2017 ab. Die R-Modelle von 2012 bis 2015 sind stattdessen mit dem EDF011 gelistet, es lohnt sich also, zuerst Ihr Modelljahr zu bestätigen. Der passende Kupplungshebel für die Maschinen von 2016 und 2017 ist der EST333P; für die frühere R führt Accossato den EST333.
Straßenzulassung
Der EDF099 hat keine dokumentierte deutsche ABE. Wir verkaufen ihn für die Rennstrecke.
