Unter den V7-III-Modellen bleibt die Special am nächsten am klassischen V7-Look, mit Speichenrädern, glänzenden Details und zwei Rundinstrumenten vor dem Fahrer. Besitzer eines solchen Motorrads überlegen genau, bevor sie etwas Sichtbares verändern, und ein Bremshebel ist so sichtbar, wie ein Teil nur sein kann. Der Accossato EDF016 ist ein CNC-gefräster Aluminiumhebel für die V7 III Special von 2017 bis 2020. Er passt an den originalen Bremszylinder, ist in der Griffweite einstellbar und lässt sich in Farben bestellen, die sich entweder in das klassische Design einfügen oder sich bewusst davon abheben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Chrom ist eine Beschichtung, die über ein anderes Metall gelegt wird, das Eloxieren dagegen arbeitet von innen nach außen. Beim EDF016 wird die Oberfläche des gefrästen Aluminiums in einen harten Oxidfilm umgewandelt, und die Farbe wird in diesen Film aufgenommen, bevor er versiegelt wird. Es gibt also keine separate Schicht, die sich heben oder abschälen könnte. Der Hebel wird auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium gefräst, was ihm gleichmäßige Proportionen und eine saubere Kontur gibt, und er ist starr gebaut, ohne Gelenk irgendwo entlang des Blatts. Accossato hält die Nabe bei jeder Ausführung schwarz, sodass nur das Blatt Farbe zeigt.
Das Blatt für eine klassische V7 wählen
An einer V7 III Special sind Silber und Schwarz die ruhigen Optionen. Silber greift das glänzende Metall an anderen Stellen des Motorrads auf und wirkt neben der schwarzen Nabe wie ein Detail aus jener Zeit statt wie ein Zubehörteil. Es wird in der Standard- und der kurzen Länge gefertigt. Schwarz, angeboten in der Standardlänge, ist die dezenteste Option von allen und lässt die gefräste Form für sich sprechen. Manche Besitzer geben den klassischen Linien lieber einen modernen Akzent, und für sie gibt es Gold, Blau, Grün und Orange in allen drei Längen sowie Rot in der Standardlänge. Wie eine Farbe an Ihrer Special wirkt, hängt von ihrer Lackierung und von Details wie der Sitzbank ab, es lohnt sich also, die Produktfotos vor der Entscheidung neben das eigene Motorrad zu halten. Noch ein praktischer Punkt: Heben Sie den Originalhebel auf. Möchten Sie die V7 III Special irgendwann wieder in den Werkszustand zurückversetzen, für sich selbst oder für einen Käufer, kann er einfach wieder montiert werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Für die V7 III Special ist der EDF016 von 2017 bis 2020 gelistet, der Katalog von Accossato führt das Motorrad als V7 750 Special. Der Hebel sitzt am vorhandenen Bremszylinder der Special. Sein Gegenstück für die Kupplung ist der ESD037, gelistet für dieselben vier Modelljahre, sodass sich beide Lenkerseiten in derselben Farbe ausstatten lassen.
Straßenzulassung
Für den EDF016 ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert. Wir bieten ihn deshalb für den Einsatz auf Rennstrecken an.
