Viele neue Fahrer lassen ihr erstes Motorrad im Stand oder fast im Stand umfallen, und eine häufige Ursache ist die Vorderradbremse: Etwas zu fest gezogen, während der Lenker eingeschlagen ist, stoppt sie das Vorderrad und kippt das Motorrad zur Innenseite. Die Kawasaki Z125 ist oft ein erstes Motorrad, leicht genug, um sie wieder aufzuheben, aber besser aufrecht gehalten. Der Accossato EDF025 ist ein Bremshebel für die Z125 von 2019 und 2020 aus CNC-gefrästem, eloxiertem Aluminium. Er arbeitet mit dem originalen Bremszylinder des Motorrads, und sein Abstand zum Griff lässt sich auf die Hand einstellen, die ihn bedient.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
An einem kleinen Naked Bike gehören die Hebel zu den wenigen blanken Metallteilen im Blickfeld des Fahrers, und sie werden mehr angefasst als alles andere. Der EDF025 beginnt als Stück Aluminium, wird durch CNC-Fräsen geformt und dann eloxiert, was seine Oberfläche in ein hartes Oxid umwandelt, das die Farbe hält, sodass Fingerspitzen und Handschuhe sie nicht abreiben. Seine Nabe, die Drehpunkt und Griffweiteneinsteller enthält, ist bei allen Ausführungen schwarz; das Blatt ist in der Farbe Ihrer Wahl ausgeführt. Es gibt kein Gelenk darin: Der Hebel ist ein einziges starres Teil.
Sanft im Schritttempo
Im Schritttempo, und besonders bei eingeschlagenem Lenker, braucht die Vorderradbremse die leichteste Berührung, zu der Sie fähig sind. Zum Anhalten in einer engen Wende oder beim Rangieren bringen viele Fahrlehrer bei, stattdessen Hinterradbremse und Kupplung zu nutzen und den Lenker geradezustellen, bevor die Vorderradbremse zum Einsatz kommt. Wird die Vorderradbremse bei niedrigem Tempo gebraucht, sollte sie sanft einsetzen, und das ist viel leichter, wenn der Hebel dort sitzt, wo Ihre Finger ihn in kleinen Schritten bewegen können. Stellen Sie den EDF025 an der Z125 so ein, dass das Blatt Ihre Finger trifft, während die Hand entspannt am Gas liegt; kleinere Hände können ihn näher holen, als ein Serienhebel üblicherweise sitzt. Üben Sie dann langsame Wenden und Stopps auf einem ruhigen Parkplatz und spüren Sie, wie wenig Druck die Vorderradbremse bei diesem Tempo braucht. Das Standardblatt, dem Original am nächsten und in jeder Farbe gefertigt, passt den meisten neuen Fahrern.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieser Hebel ist für die Kawasaki Z125 von 2019 und 2020 bestimmt, die 125er, die Kawasaki zur Saison 2019 einführte. Accossatos Liste, in der das Motorrad als Z 125 erscheint, beginnt früher, das Produkt deckt die Z125 jedoch erst ab ihrer tatsächlichen Markteinführung ab. Der EDF025 kommt an den originalen Vorderradbremszylinder der Z125 und ersetzt dort den Serienhebel. Für die linke Hand fertigt Accossato den ESK025 für dieselben Jahre, sodass ein neuer Fahrer beiden Hebeln dieselbe einstellbare Auslegung und eine passende Farbe geben kann.
Straßenzulassung
Für den EDF025 ist keine deutsche ABE dokumentiert. Wir verkaufen ihn deshalb als Teil für den Rennstreckeneinsatz.
