Als Ducati 2019 die Diavel 1260 vorstellte, behielt das Werk das Rezept des Originals bei, eine niedrige Sitzbank und einen breiten Hinterreifen, und kombinierte es mit dem Testastretta-DVT-Motor mit variablen Ventilsteuerzeiten. Zugleich ist sie ein Motorrad, das viele Besitzer am Wochenende mit einem Sozius teilen. Mit einer zweiten Person an Bord verändert sich das Bremsen: Mehr Gewicht schiebt nach vorn, die Bremswege werden länger, und Sanftheit ist dann ebenso eine Frage der Rücksicht wie der Technik. Der Accossato EDF099 ist ein CNC-gefräster Aluminium-Bremshebel für die Diavel 1260 von 2019 bis 2022, dessen Griffweite Sie passend einstellen können.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Beim EDF099 teilen sich zwei Zonen eines einzigen gefrästen Teils die Arbeit. Die Nabe, bei jedem Hebel schwarz eloxiert, trägt die Lagerbohrung und den Einsteller, der die Ruheposition des Blatts festlegt. Am Blatt, eloxiert in der Farbe Ihrer Wahl, setzen Ihre Finger die Kraft an, und es läuft ohne Unterbrechung bis zu seinem Ende durch, weil der Hebel kein Gelenk hat. Accossato fräst die gesamte Form auf CNC-Maschinen aus massivem Aluminium, was den Querschnitt gleichmäßig und die Kanten sauber hält, und das Eloxieren verleiht ihr anschließend eine harte, farbige Oberfläche.
Zu zweit auf der 1260
Ein Sozius verändert das Bremsen einer Diavel 1260 stärker, als die meisten Fahrer erwarten. Das gemeinsame Gewicht braucht länger bis zum Stillstand, und jeder abrupte Impuls kommt als Nicken des Helms hinter Ihnen an. Die Antwort ist ein progressiver Zug am Hebel, der sanft beginnt und sich steigert, und ein solcher Zug braucht einen Hebel, den die Finger ohne Strecken erreichen. Mit dem Einsteller stellen Sie das Blatt für Fahrten mit Sozius etwas näher, damit der erste Kontakt früh kommt und der Druck über den ganzen Bremsvorgang gleichmäßig wachsen kann.
Wer bei beladenem Motorrad gern mit der ganzen Hand bremst, bekommt mit dem langen Blatt mehr Hebelwirkung an der Spitze. Es wird in Blau, Gold, Grün und Orange gefertigt; Schwarz und Rot gibt es nur in Standardlänge, Silber in Standard und kurz.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den EDF099 für die Diavel 1260 über die Modelljahre 2019 bis 2022, die gesamte Bauzeit dieser Generation, bevor die Diavel V4 sie ablöste.
