Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die Baujahre, die Passform und die Formulierung zu Material und Technik für den Geländeeinsatz sind das, was Accossato zum MTM705 veröffentlicht, dessen eigentliche Aufgabe es ist, Staub von der Ansaugtraktseite des Motors fernzuhalten; beigepacktes Öl gibt es nicht. Das auf einem kleineren Zweitakter funktionierende Reinigungsintervall als Ausgangspunkt statt als feste Regel zu behandeln und den Filter früher zu prüfen, wenn deutlich härter als sonst gefahren wurde, verhindert, dass der Filter leise hinter dem zurückbleibt, was das Motorrad tatsächlich von ihm verlangt. Ein Filter, der trotz einer harten Session noch vernünftig sauber aussieht, ist ein gutes Zeichen dafür, dass der Luftstrom seine Aufgabe ordentlich erfüllt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Eintrag für die MX 300 2 STR. läuft von 2015 bis 2018, passend zu den hier angegebenen Jahren, mit dem MTM705 als einzigem für dieses Motorrad genannten Filter.
