Wer Scheiben für eine ZX-10R bestellt, muss deshalb wissen, auf welcher Seite dieser Linie das Motorrad liegt. Für die Modelle von 2016 bis 2021 listet Accossato die DKS041, eine schwimmend gelagerte Elite-Scheibe mit einem Außendurchmesser von 330 mm und einem 5,5 mm dicken Reibring auf einem schwarzen Träger.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die DKS041 gehört zu Accossatos Elite-Linie, erkennbar am Logo auf jeder Niete. Diese Nieten verbinden einen schwarzen Träger mit 80 mm Mittenöffnung mit einem Reibring von 330 mm Durchmesser, den der Lieferant mit 5,5 mm Dicke angibt. Weil der Ring von Nieten gehalten wird, statt mit der Mitte ein Stück zu bilden, kann er sich unter Hitze unabhängig ausdehnen. Accossato fügt hinzu, dass sich das geringe Gewicht seiner Scheiben bei Lenkung und Kontrolle auszahlt, ein Punkt, der bei einem Superbike zählt, das so schnell die Richtung wechselt wie eine ZX-10R.
Welche ZX-10R haben Sie?
Kawasaki hat die Vorderradbremse der ZX-10R mit dem Modelljahr 2016 geändert, und die beiden Generationen brauchen unterschiedliche Scheiben. Accossato listet deshalb zwei Teile: die DK235 mit kleinerem Ring für die Motorräder von 2008 bis 2015 und diese DKS041 für 2016 bis 2021. Das Modelljahr in den Zulassungspapieren ist der erste Hinweis, kann aber bei einem Motorrad in die Irre führen, das ein oder zwei Jahre nach seiner Herstellung zugelassen wurde. Die schnellste Prüfung von allen ist ein Maßband quer über die derzeit montierte Scheibe. Misst sie 330 mm und ist der Ring etwa 5,5 mm dick, sind Sie hier richtig. Achten Sie auch auf Änderungen durch Vorbesitzer: Eine ZX-10R, die im Rennen eingesetzt wurde, kann Räder oder Bremsteile aus anderer Quelle tragen. Accossato listet die DKS041 für die ZX-10R von 2016 bis 2021 und nennt in seinem Katalog eine lange Reihe von Editionen, von Motorrädern der KRT Replica und der Winter Edition bis zur SE. Die Scheibe ersetzt eine der beiden originalen Vorderradscheiben; der Preis gilt für eine einzelne Scheibe, für einen kompletten Wechsel werden also zwei benötigt.
