Waschen tut einem Motorrad gut, aber die Mittel, die Lack und Metall zum Glänzen bringen, sind das Letzte, was eine Bremsscheibe braucht. Accossatos DKS053 ist eine schwimmend gelagerte Vorderradbremsscheibe, gelistet für die Ducati XDiavel Dark von 2020 bis 2023. Sie hat einen 320-mm-Reibring von 5,5 mm Dicke auf einem schwarzen Träger, der zum Motorrad passt, und der Träger wird über fünf Bohrungen mit 8,5 mm auf einem Lochkreis von 90 mm am Rad befestigt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Bei der DKS053 sind Träger und Reibring getrennte Teile. Der schwarze Träger wird am Rad verschraubt, und der Ring ist über Nieten an ihm befestigt, die ein kleines Maß an Bewegung zulassen, sodass sich der Ring mit der Wärme ausdehnen und zwischen den Belägen ausrichten kann, ohne sich zu verziehen. Accossatos eigene Beschreibung betont zwei Dinge: dass die Toleranzen und das Spiel zwischen Ring und Träger eingehend untersucht wurden und dass das Wissen des Unternehmens über Bremsscheiben aus den Rennklassen Superbike, Moto2 und Moto3 stammt. Die Maße betragen 320 mm außen, 72 mm an der Bohrung und 5,5 mm durch den Ring.
Waschtag an einem dunklen Motorrad
Viele der Mittel, die ein dunkles Motorrad glänzen lassen, enthalten Wachse, Silikone oder Öle, und auf einer Bremsscheibe verringert schon ein dünner Film davon die Haftung. Reifenglanzspray, das in der Nähe des Vorderrads versprüht wird, Politur, die mit einem Tuch hinübergetragen wird, oder Sprühwachs, das der Wind verweht, können alle auf dem Reibring landen. Die erste Bremsung danach fühlt sich schwach an, und die Beläge können die Verschmutzung dauerhaft aufsaugen.
Ein paar Gewohnheiten halten die XDiavel Dark ansehnlich, ohne die Bremsen zu gefährden. Decken Sie die Scheiben mit einem sauberen Tuch oder einer Plastiktüte ab, wenn Sie in der Nähe der Räder Sprays verwenden, und geben Sie Politur auf das Tuch statt direkt auf das Motorrad. Wählen Sie einen Felgenreiniger, der als unbedenklich für Bremsenteile gekennzeichnet ist, und spülen Sie gründlich nach. Halten Sie einen Hochdruckstrahl von den Bremssätteln und Nieten fern, denn er kann sie mit Wasser und Schmutz füllen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet die DKS053 für die XDiavel Dark, die es als X Diavel 1262 Dark führt, von 2020 bis 2023. Das Motorrad nutzt zwei vordere Scheiben, und jede wird einzeln verkauft, planen Sie für einen kompletten Wechsel also zwei ein. Vergleichen Sie vor dem Einbau die neue Scheibe mit einer originalen: Durchmesser, Bohrung, Dicke und die fünf Bohrungen auf dem Lochkreis von 90 mm sollten alle übereinstimmen. Straßenzulassung
