Bremsstaub am Vorderrad einer SuperSport 950 S wird meist ohne weiteren Gedanken abgewaschen. Es lohnt sich, ihn vorher anzusehen, denn seine Farbe und Beschaffenheit verraten etwas über den Zustand von Scheiben und Belägen. Für die Ducati SuperSport 950 S nennt Accossatos Liste die DKS053 über die Jahre 2021 bis 2024, eine schwimmend gelagerte Vorderradbremsscheibe, deren 320-mm-Reibring 5,5 mm dick ist und deren schwarzer Träger ein veröffentlichtes Lochbild hat. Laut Lieferant lässt sie sich direkt gegen die Originalscheibe tauschen.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Diese Scheibe ist zweiteilig aufgebaut. Der schwarze Träger mit fünf Befestigungsbohrungen von 8,5 mm, angeordnet auf einem Lochkreis von 90 mm, hält einen 5,5 mm dicken Reibring auf Nieten, und die Nieten erlauben dem Ring beim Erwärmen und Abkühlen ein leichtes Schwimmen. Das verhindert, dass sich die Scheibe verzieht, und lässt den Ring den Belägen folgen. Accossato gibt an, die Toleranzen und das Spiel an dieser Verbindung sorgfältig ausgearbeitet zu haben, gestützt auf Erfahrung aus dem Superbike-Rennsport und aus den Klassen Moto2 und Moto3. Der Ring misst 320 mm im Durchmesser, die Bohrung des Trägers 72 mm.
Was der Staub verrät
Normaler Bremsstaub ist ein feines, dunkelgraues Pulver, das sich gleichmäßig über Felge und unteres Gabelrohr verteilt. Er stammt überwiegend von den Belägen und zeigt lediglich, dass die Bremsen ihre Arbeit tun. Andere Anzeichen verdienen Aufmerksamkeit. Staub mit metallischem Glitzern oder helle Kratzer auf der Scheibe können bedeuten, dass ein Belag bis auf seine Trägerplatte abgenutzt ist und nun Metall auf Metall reibt. Deutlich mehr Staub auf einer Seite des Rads als auf der anderen deutet auf einen schleifenden Bremssattel oder eine Scheibe mit Schlag hin. Öliger, verschmierter Staub weist auf Gabelöl oder Kettenfett an den Bremsen hin.
Wer früh auf diese Anzeichen reagiert, spart Geld. Ein schleifender Bremssattel braucht meist gereinigte Kolben und gangbar gemachte Führungsbolzen, und die Scheibe auf dieser Seite sollte auf Anlauffarben und Verschleiß geprüft werden. Ein bis auf die Trägerplatte abgenutzter Belag hat sich in die Scheibe geschnitten; sind die Riefen tief oder liegt die Dicke nahe an der aufgedruckten Mindestdicke, sollten beide Scheiben der SuperSport 950 S zusammen mit neuen Belägen erneuert werden. Verunreinigung ist der einzige Fall, in dem eine gründliche Reinigung für die Scheibe genügen kann, sofern die Beläge, die Öl aufsaugen, ersetzt werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
In der Liste deckt die DKS053 die SuperSport 950 S von 2021 bis 2024 ab, und die dünnere DK053 wird für dieselben Jahre angeboten. Messen Sie eine Ihrer Originalscheiben, um herauszufinden, welche passt, und verwenden Sie auf beiden Seiten denselben Typ. Jede Scheibe wird einzeln verkauft; das Motorrad braucht zwei.
