Eine Hinterradscheibe sollte auf beiden Seiten gleichmäßig verschleißen. Sieht die Innenseite der Scheibe an einer KTM 500 EXC-F Six Days anders aus als die Außenseite, bewegt sich im Bremssattel etwas nicht frei, und die Scheibe zahlt den Preis dafür. Die Six-Days-Modelle sind für lange, harte Tage im Gelände gebaut, und genau dort entstehen solche Fehler. Accossato listet die DK018 als ihre Hinterradscheibe von 2012 bis 2024: eine feste, einteilige Scheibe, 220 mm im Durchmesser und 4 mm dick.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die DK018 ist eine feste Scheibe aus einem einzigen Stück; der Lieferant bezeichnet sie als aus Stahl gefertigt. Sie stammt aus Accossatos Offroad-Programm, mit einer Mittenöffnung von 110 mm und einer Dicke von 4 mm. Accossato beschreibt die Entwicklung seiner Scheiben als Wissenstransfer aus Superbike, Moto2 und Moto3, verbunden mit sorgfältiger Materialauswahl und Aufmerksamkeit für Toleranzen. Die auf der Scheibe aufgedruckte zulässige Mindestdicke ist der Bezugswert für jede der unten beschriebenen Kontrollen.
Zwei Seiten einer Scheibe
Die Hinterradbremsen von Enduros arbeiten typischerweise mit einem Schwimmsattel: Nur eine Seite hat einen Kolben, und das Sattelgehäuse gleitet auf Bolzen, um den gegenüberliegenden Belag an die Scheibe zu bringen. Sind diese Bolzen trocken, verschmutzt oder korrodiert, gleitet der Sattel nicht mehr frei. Die Kolbenseite arbeitet weiter, doch der andere Belag schleift leicht oder berührt die Scheibe kaum, und die beiden Seiten der Scheibe verschleißen unterschiedlich schnell. Das Ergebnis ist eine Scheibe, die auf einer Seite dünner ist, ein Pedal, das sich hölzern anfühlt, und Beläge mit sehr unterschiedlich viel verbleibendem Belagmaterial.
Die Kontrolle dauert ein paar Minuten. Messen Sie bei ausgebauten Belägen die Dicke jedes einzelnen und vergleichen Sie beide Seiten der Scheibe auf Unterschiede in Farbe und Rillen. Ziehen Sie die Führungsbolzen heraus, reinigen Sie sie und ihre Bohrungen, prüfen Sie die Gummimanschetten auf Risse und tragen Sie einen dünnen Film Fett auf, das für die Führungsbolzen von Bremssätteln bestimmt ist, und halten Sie es dabei gut von Belägen und Scheibe fern. Bauen Sie alles wieder ein, pumpen Sie mit dem Pedal und drehen Sie das Rad: Es sollte sich frei drehen, sobald das Pedal losgelassen ist. An einer 500 EXC-F Six Days, die in Schlamm und Wasser gefahren wird, gehört dieser Service zu jedem größeren Belagwechsel.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato listet die DK018 für die KTM 500 EXC-F Six Days von 2012 bis 2024 als Ersatz für die originale Hinterradscheibe. Für vorne steht bei der Six Days die DK259 in Accossatos Liste, für 2015 bis 2023. Am Motorrad ist eine Hinterradscheibe montiert. Accossato nennt für dieses Modell außerdem den Bremshebel B8283 und den Kupplungshebel C7283. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben nach dem Einbau mit dem Wert an, den KTM für die 500 EXC-F Six Days vorgibt.
Straßenzulassung
Für die DK018 sind weder eine deutsche Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) noch eine Typgenehmigung dokumentiert, was sie zu einem Teil für Wettbewerb und Offroad-Einsatz macht, nicht für die Straße.
