Die Tage nach einer großen Enduro-Veranstaltung sind die Zeit, in der die eigentliche Arbeit am Motorrad beginnt. An einer KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days, die gerade eine lange Veranstaltung hinter sich hat, hatte die Hinterradbremse eines der härtesten Leben überhaupt: stundenlang Wasser, Schmutz und Hitze, dazwischen nur wenige Minuten Aufmerksamkeit. Accossato listet seine feste Hinterradbremsscheibe DK018 für die 450 EXC-F Six Days von 2003 bis 2024. Sie ist ein einziges Stück, 220 mm im Durchmesser und 4 mm dick.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Die DK018 hat weder Träger noch Nieten: Accossato fertigt sie als feste Scheibe, nach Beschreibung des Lieferanten ein einziges Teil aus Stahl, 4 mm dick, mit einer Mittenöffnung von 110 mm. Sie gehört zum Offroad-Programm des Unternehmens. Accossato wurde 1969 in Moncalieri bei Turin gegründet und sagt, sein Wissen über Bremsscheiben sei in Superbike, Moto2 und Moto3 verfeinert worden, mit großer Aufmerksamkeit für die Konstruktion und die Wahl des Materials. Die Mindestdicke ist auf der Scheibe aufgedruckt, sodass jede spätere Kontrolle einen klaren Bezugswert hat.
Der Service nach der Veranstaltung
Ein ordentlicher Service nach der Veranstaltung beginnt mit einem sauberen Motorrad und ausgebautem Hinterrad. Prüfen Sie mit dem Rad auf einem Ständer beide Seiten der DK018, denn die Innenseite bleibt bei schnellen Kontrollen verborgen. Tiefe, ringförmige Rillen, ein aufgeworfener Rand am Außenumfang und Anlauffarben nahe der Reibfläche erzählen alle etwas über die Veranstaltung. Messen Sie die Dicke an vier oder fünf Stellen rund um die Scheibe; Unterschiede zwischen den Werten deuten auf ungleichmäßigen Verschleiß oder einen schleifenden Bremssattel hin.
Wenden Sie sich dann den Teilen rund um die Scheibe zu. Nehmen Sie die Beläge heraus und prüfen Sie, wie viel Belagmaterial übrig ist und ob sie schräg abgenutzt sind. Reinigen Sie die Führungsbolzen des Bremssattels und sehen Sie sich die Gummimanschetten an. Drehen Sie das Rad von Hand, um die Lager auf rauen Lauf oder Spiel zu prüfen, und untersuchen Sie die Felge auf Dellen nahe den Speichen. Bauen Sie alles wieder ein, entlüften Sie die Bremse, wenn sich das Pedal während der Veranstaltung weich angefühlt hat, und bremsen Sie neue Beläge ein, falls Sie welche eingesetzt haben. Liegt die Scheibe nahe an der aufgedruckten Mindestdicke oder zeigt sie Risse, ersetzen Sie sie jetzt und nicht erst zu Beginn der nächsten Veranstaltung, wenn die Zeit an der 450 EXC-F Six Days ohnehin knapp ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
In Accossatos Liste deckt die DK018 die KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days von 2003 bis 2024 ab, einschließlich der Baureihe 450 EXC Six Days von 2009 bis 2016. Sie ersetzt die originale Hinterradscheibe, eine pro Motorrad. Für die Front der Six Days nennt Accossato die DK017 für 2009 bis 2023 und die DK259 für 2015 bis 2020. Die passenden Hebel in Accossatos Liste sind der B8303 für die Bremse und der C7303 für die Kupplung.
Straßenzulassung
Selbst an einer zugelassenen Six Days bleibt die DK018 ein Wettbewerbsteil, denn für sie sind weder eine deutsche Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) noch eine Typgenehmigung dokumentiert.
