Fragt man Sozius und Sozia, was einen Fahrer angenehm zum Mitfahren macht, steht sanftes Bremsen weit oben auf der Liste. An einer Multistrada 1260 S mit zwei Personen und Gepäck schiebt jede abrupte Bremsung den Sozius nach vorn gegen den Fahrer, und ein langer Tag davon ermüdet beide. Gutes Bremsen beginnt mit der Hand des Fahrers, braucht aber auch einen Hebel, der jedes Mal gleich reagiert. Für den vorderen Behälter der Multistrada 1260 S führt Accossato den TS003 von 2018 bis 2020, einen Deckel aus eloxiertem Aluminium.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato bietet den TS003 in silber, schwarz, rot, gold, blau, orange und grün an; die Farbe stammt vom Eloxieren, das aufgebracht wird, nachdem der Aluminiumdeckel auf CNC-Anlagen gefräst wurde. Der Deckel ist für den originalen vorderen Behälter der Motorräder seiner Liste gemacht, sodass die Bremse der Multistrada 1260 S jedes Werksbauteil behält. Nehmen Sie sich einen Moment für die Membran oder Dichtung unter dem alten Deckel; ist sie beschädigt, verformt oder nicht mehr elastisch, erneuern Sie sie, bevor der Behälter verschlossen wird.
Bremsen zu zweit
Sanftes Bremsen mit Sozius ist vor allem Technik: weiter vorausschauen, früher anbremsen, den Hebel gleichmäßig steigernd ziehen und kurz vor dem Stillstand lösen, damit die Gabel nicht abrupt zurückfedert. Vor einer stärkeren Bremsung warnt ein kleiner, früher Bremsimpuls den Sozius, und es hilft, sich vorher abzusprechen, woran er sich festhält. All das hängt von einem Hebel ab, dessen Gefühl sich nicht von einem Tag auf den anderen ändert. Flüssigkeit, die über die Jahre Feuchtigkeit aufgenommen hat, kann den Hebel bei heißer Bremse weicher machen, und genau dann braucht eine voll beladene Multistrada 1260 S sie am dringendsten. Lassen Sie die Flüssigkeit im Intervall der Bedienungsanleitung erneuern; der TS003 ist kein Ersatz dafür. Drehen Sie bei der Montage den Lenker, bis der Behälter waagerecht steht, legen Sie ein Tuch über Tank und Verkleidung und halten Sie Wasser bereit, um verschüttete Flüssigkeit sofort abzuwaschen, da sie Lack schädigt. Öffnen Sie den Behälter kurz, prüfen Sie, ob der Stand zwischen den Markierungen liegt, und ziehen Sie den Deckel behutsam an. Ziehen Sie vor der ersten Fahrt mehrmals den Hebel, und probieren Sie auf dieser Fahrt ein paar sanfte Bremsungen mit Ihrem Sozius, bevor die eigentlichen Kilometer des Tages beginnen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die Liste von Accossato gibt den TS003 für den vorderen Behälter der Multistrada 1260 S und der 1260 S Pikes Peak von 2018 bis 2020 sowie für die S Touring von 2019 und 2020 an. Er ersetzt den Originaldeckel. Bei Inter-Pace ist derselbe Deckel für die Monster 1200 S, die Hypermotard 821 und die Aprilia RSV4 RR gelistet. Für den Kupplungsbehälter der 1260 S fertigt Accossato den Deckel FP007; beide gibt es in schwarz, silber, rot, gold, blau und orange. Vergleichen Sie Ihre Version vor der Bestellung mit der Liste.
