Ein Pass hat zwei Hälften, und der Weg hinunter verlangt den Bremsen mehr ab als der Weg hinauf. Auf einer langen Abfahrt mit Gepäck wird eine Multistrada 1260 in Kurve um Kurve verzögert, in Belägen und Scheiben staut sich Hitze, und ein Teil davon erreicht die Flüssigkeit. Frische Flüssigkeit steckt das weg; alte, die Wasser aufgenommen hat, kann sieden, und der Hebel bekommt plötzlich mehr Weg. Für den vorderen Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter der Multistrada 1260 führt Accossato den TS003 für 2019 und 2020, gefertigt aus eloxiertem Aluminium.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der TS003 beginnt als Aluminium, wird auf CNC-Maschinen gefräst und danach in rot, schwarz, silber, gold, blau, orange oder grün eloxiert. Er ist für den serienmäßigen vorderen Behälter jedes Motorrads auf der Liste von Accossato gedacht, sodass sich an der Multistrada 1260 nur der Deckel ändert, während Hauptbremszylinder, Leitungen und der Rest der Bremse genau so bleiben, wie Ducati sie verbaut hat. Unter dem alten Deckel liegt eine Gummimembran oder Dichtung. Sie sollte sauber und elastisch sein; ist sie eingerissen oder hart geworden, ersetzen Sie sie, bevor der Behälter verschlossen wird.
Der lange Weg vom Pass hinunter
Wer seinen Urlaub in den Bergen verbringt, kennt die Routine für Abfahrten: ein niedrigerer Gang, Motorbremse und die Bremsen kräftig betätigt und dann wieder gelöst, statt sie den ganzen Weg hinunter schleifen zu lassen. Die Technik ist nur die halbe Sache; die andere Hälfte ist der Zustand der Flüssigkeit. Bremsflüssigkeit nimmt mit der Zeit Feuchtigkeit auf, und je mehr Wasser sie enthält, desto niedriger ist die Temperatur, bei der sie siedet. Deshalb nennt die Bedienungsanleitung der Multistrada 1260 ein Intervall für ihre Erneuerung, und deshalb ist ein Bergurlaub ein guter Anlass zu prüfen, wann das zuletzt geschehen ist. Ein neuer Deckel ersetzt diese Arbeit nicht, aber beides passt gut zusammen. Drehen Sie für den TS003 den Lenker, bis der Behälter waagerecht steht, breiten Sie ein altes Handtuch über Tank und Verkleidung und halten Sie ein feuchtes Tuch für jeden Tropfen bereit, da die Flüssigkeit Lack schädigt. Lassen Sie den Behälter nur so lange offen wie nötig, prüfen Sie den Stand zwischen den Markierungen, setzen Sie den Deckel auf und ziehen Sie ihn behutsam an. Ziehen Sie vor der ersten Fahrt im Stand mehrmals den Hebel. Und fühlt er sich einmal auf einer Abfahrt weich an, halten Sie an sicherer Stelle und lassen Sie die Bremsen abkühlen, bevor Sie weiterfahren.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Die Einträge von Accossato für den TS003 decken den vorderen Bremsbehälter der Multistrada 1260 und der 1260 Touring von 2019 bis 2020 ab. Motorräder aus dem ersten 1260er-Jahr 2018 stehen für diesen Deckel nicht auf der Liste, vergleichen Sie deren Behälter deshalb vor der Bestellung mit den Anwendungen. Bei Inter-Pace ist der TS003 außerdem für die Multistrada 1200 S, die Hypermotard 821 und die Aprilia Caponord 1200 katalogisiert. Für die Kupplung der 1260 fertigt Accossato den Deckel FP007.
Straßenzulassung
Uns ist für den TS003 keine ABE und kein Prüfzeugnis bekannt, deshalb führen wir ihn für Wettbewerbszwecke und die Rennstrecke.
