Das lohnt sich im Gedächtnis zu behalten, wenn ein Motorrad irgendwann weitergegeben wird, denn die Teile, die am wenigsten kosten, um sie in Ordnung zu bringen, sind meist die, auf die ein Käufer zuerst schaut. Der hintere Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter gehört dazu, und Accossatos TS012 ersetzt seinen Deckel durch gefrästes Aluminium, eloxiert in sieben Farben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato formt den TS012 auf CNC-Maschinen aus Aluminium und veredelt ihn in blau, grün, schwarz, orange, rot, silber oder gold. Die Farbe kommt vom Eloxieren, das in das Metall wirkt und deshalb die Behandlung übersteht, die ein tief montiertes Teil an einem bei jedem Wetter genutzten Motorrad erfährt. Der Deckel ist für den hinteren Behälter gemacht, der an den Motorrädern der Accossato-Anwendungsliste montiert ist, sodass die Hinterradbremse einer Scrambler 800 sonst unverändert bleibt. Sehen Sie sich die Membran unter dem alten Deckel an, bevor der neue aufgesetzt wird; ist sie verhärtet, gerissen oder verformt, kümmern Sie sich zuerst darum.
Das Motorrad weitergeben
Ob Sie das Motorrad im nächsten Frühjahr verkaufen oder weitere zehn Jahre behalten, die Arbeit ist dieselbe und dauert einen Abend. Stellen Sie die Scrambler 800 aufrecht auf beide Räder, sodass der hintere Behälter waagerecht liegt, und reinigen Sie dessen Oberseite und Umgebung, bevor etwas gelöst wird, denn Schmutz auf dieser Fläche gelangt direkt in den Kreislauf, sobald der Deckel ab ist. Schützen Sie den Lack in der Nähe mit einem Tuch und halten Sie Wasser bereit, da Bremsflüssigkeit Lack schnell zeichnet. Prüfen Sie, ob der Stand zwischen den Markierungen liegt, sehen Sie sich die Farbe der Flüssigkeit an und finden Sie heraus, wann sie zuletzt erneuert wurde. Flüssigkeit nimmt über die Jahre Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft auf, weshalb die Bedienungsanleitung auch ein Intervall in Zeit angibt, und ein Motorrad mit geringer Laufleistung ist davon nicht ausgenommen. Setzen Sie den TS012 ein, ziehen Sie ihn leicht und gleichmäßig an und drücken Sie das Pedal mehrmals vor der Fahrt. Ein neuer Deckel auf alter Flüssigkeit kümmert sich um die falsche Hälfte des Problems, erledigen Sie deshalb beides, wenn beides fällig ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Liste führt den TS012 für den hinteren Behälter der Scrambler 800 von 2015 bis 2020, mit der Café-Racer- und der Desert-Sled-Version im selben Eintrag. Der Deckel ersetzt das Original, und der Behälter bleibt an seinem Platz. Wurde die Hinterradbremse verändert, prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung die Anwendungsliste. Bei Inter-Pace ist dasselbe Teil für die Hypermotard 950, die DesertX und die Benelli Leoncino 500 gelistet. Accossato vervollständigt sein Sortiment für dieses Motorrad mit dem Öldeckel FP004 und dem vorderen Behälterdeckel TS003.
