Viele Monster 795 haben ihr Leben in warmen, feuchten Klimazonen verbracht, in den asiatischen Märkten, für die Ducati dieses luftgekühlte Naked Bike entwickelt hat. Hitze und Feuchtigkeit setzen der Bremsflüssigkeit zu, denn die Flüssigkeit nimmt mit der Zeit Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft auf, und feuchte Luft bietet ihr mehr davon. Für einen Besitzer lohnt es sich deshalb, die Behälter im Auge zu behalten, den hinteren eingeschlossen. Accossato fertigt einen Deckel für genau diesen hinteren Behälter der Monster 795 von 2014 und 2015: den TS012, aus Aluminium gefräst, mit sieben eloxierten Farben zur Auswahl.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Blau, Gold, Orange, Silber, Grün, Rot oder Schwarz sind die Ausführungen, in denen der TS012 nach dem Fräsen aus Aluminium eloxiert wird. Er ist für den serienmäßigen hinteren Behälter der Motorräder auf der Liste gemacht, sodass er an der Monster 795 den Seriendeckel ersetzt und sonst nichts. Wie immer bei einem Behälterdeckel verdient die Dichtung oder Membran darunter einen Blick: Hitze beschleunigt das Altern von Gummi, und ein hart gewordenes Teil sollte ersetzt werden.
Feuchte Luft und Bremsflüssigkeit
In feuchten Regionen ist das Wechselintervall der Bedienungsanleitung keine Zahl, die man dehnen sollte. Bremsflüssigkeit nimmt über die Jahre Wasser auf, und Flüssigkeit mit mehr Wasser siedet bei niedrigerer Temperatur, was vor allem dann zählt, wenn die Bremsen in Hitze und Verkehr hart arbeiten. Prüfen Sie den hinteren Behälter der Monster 795 bei aufrecht stehendem Motorrad: Der Stand gehört zwischen Minimum und Maximum, und die Flüssigkeit sollte hell statt braun aussehen. Ist ein Wechsel fällig, lassen Sie ihn erledigen, bevor Sie den neuen Deckel montieren. Wählen Sie für die Arbeit einen trockenen Tag und lassen Sie den Behälter so kurz wie möglich offen. Decken Sie Lack und Kunststoffteile in der Nähe ab, weil Bremsflüssigkeit sie angreift, und spülen Sie jeden Tropfen sofort mit Wasser weg. Ziehen Sie den TS012 mit leichter Hand an. Treten Sie danach bei stehendem Motorrad mehrmals auf das Pedal und prüfen Sie, ob es sich fest anfühlt. Ein geschlossener Deckel und frische Flüssigkeit halten eine Hinterradbremse in jedem Klima gleichmäßig.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den TS012 für den hinteren Behälter der Monster 795 in der Version Corse Stripe von 2014 und 2015 und in der Version Red Stripe von 2015, beide mit ABS. Derselbe Deckel ist bei Inter-Pace außerdem für die Hypermotard 821, die Diavel 1260 und die Benelli TRK 502 katalogisiert.
