Was vom Budget übrigbleibt, fließt in die Verschleißteile. Accossato presst den AGPA177 in seinem Rennmaterial EV2, Artikel AGPA177EV2, eine Güteklasse, die das Unternehmen klar unter seinen Rennmischungen führt. Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato hält die Formulierung hier kurz und lässt die Einordnung sprechen: eine Rennmischung, entsprechend katalogisiert. Praktisch gelesen beschreibt das Material, von dem erwartet wird, weiter zu antworten, auch wenn keine Kühlrunden und keine sanfte Behandlung dazwischen gewährt werden. Die Trägerform darunter ist die AGPA177-Platte, die auch unter jedem anderen Suffix sitzt, ein Mischungswechsel ist also ein Verhaltenswechsel und nie ein Passformwechsel. In einer Klasse, in der niemand Tempo kauft, besteht der Nutzen eines Belags darin, in der letzten Runde dasselbe zu tun wie in der zweiten.
Ein Rennwochenende mit knappem Budget
Clubrennsport ist eine Übung im Rationieren. Es gibt ein freies Training, eine Qualifikation und zwei kurze Rennen, dazwischen einen Fahrerlagerplatz, den man sich mit jemandes Pavillon teilt. Die Monster 797 ist auf der Geraden nicht schnell, die Rundenzeit muss also spät in der Bremsphase und früh wieder am Gas gefunden werden, was bedeutet, dass die Front im Verhältnis zum Rest der Maschine härter arbeitet, als sie es an einem Superbike täte. Zwei Dinge lohnen sich, richtig gemacht zu werden. Den vorherigen Satz beschriftet als Ersatz in der Werkzeugkiste aufbewahren, denn ein Belag, der am Sonntagmorgen die technische Abnahme nicht besteht, beendet ein Wochenende, das monatelang finanziert wurde. Und vor der Veranstaltung die Bremssattelkolben reinigen, bevor sie zurückgedrückt werden, prüfen, dass die Scheibe nicht verriefelt ist, und die Flüssigkeit ansehen; Hitze, die einen ganzen Nachmittag in die Front einer Monster 797 fließt, hört nicht höflich am Reibmaterial auf.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato führt den AGPA177 für die Front der 797 und der 797 Plus über die Spanne 2017 bis 2021. Es gibt zwei Bremssättel zu befüllen, eine einzelne Schachtel erledigt das Rad also nicht. Für das Heck derselben Maschine ist der AGPP91 über diese fünf Baujahre gelistet, und DK008 sowie DKS053 erscheinen im Accossato-Scheibenprogramm für das Modell. Eine Maschine außerhalb dieser Spanne braucht eine andere Nachschau, egal was auf dem Tank steht.
Straßenzulassung
Hinter dem AGPA177EV2 steht in unseren Unterlagen keine deutsche ABE, und auch keine Prüfunterlagen liegen vor, der Artikel wird also ausschließlich für Renn- und Streckeneinsatz angeboten.
