Fährt man die KTM 890 SMT bei einem Supermoto-Rennen oder einem Klub-Streckenevent, wird die Frontbremse zum wichtigsten Bauteil am Motorrad. Accossatos Frontbelag AGPA96 in der Rennmischung EV2 passt auf die 890 SMT des Modelljahrs 2024. Er ist für Besitzer gedacht, die an den Start gehen, sei es in Zweizylinder-Supermoto-Klassen oder offenen Klubrennen, und die einen Hebel brauchen, der im Training und im Rennen gleich bleibt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fasst EV2 als Top-Rennmischung zusammen. Sie ist für eine Frontbremse gedacht, die viele Male pro Runde bis zur maximalen Kraft beansprucht wird. Allgemein gibt der Hersteller an, dass seine Beläge Fading durch begrenzte Wärme gering halten und starke Verzögerung mit langsamem Verschleiß verbinden. Die Rennschicht ist auf die Standard-Trägerplatte AGPA96 aufgebracht, sodass sie direkt in die vorderen Bremssättel der SMT passt.
Supermoto-Renntag
Eine Supermoto-Strecke ist kurz und eng, mit Spitzkehren alle paar Sekunden und einem Geländeabschnitt, der den Rhythmus unterbricht. Die Frontbremse wird fast durchgehend benutzt, und der Hebel darf nicht wandern, während die Beläge heiß werden. Eine spezielle Rennmischung wird genau für diese anhaltende Belastung gewählt. Im Training erlaubt sie dem Fahrer, Runde für Runde am selben Punkt zu bremsen und sich auf die Linie statt auf den Hebel zu konzentrieren.
Entlüften Sie die Bremsen vor dem Renntag mit frischer Flüssigkeit und montieren Sie Beläge mit viel verbleibendem Material. Prüfen Sie zwischen den Läufen die Scheibe auf Glasur und halten Sie die Bremssättel frei von Schmutz aus dem Geländeabschnitt.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Der vordere Bremssattel der KTM 890 SMT des Modelljahrs 2024 ist die gelistete Anwendung für AGPA96; die passende Heckreferenz ist AGPA29. Accossato listet keine Scheibe für die SMT. Finden Sie heraus, ob Ihr Motorrad einen oder zwei vordere Bremssättel hat, da eine Box einen abdeckt, und vergleichen Sie die Belagumrisse vor dem Einbau.
