Fertigung und Materialgüte
Ein einziges Wort trägt hier die ganze Werksbeschreibung, und dieses Wort lautet Racing. Es lohnt sich, das wörtlich zu nehmen und nicht als Kompliment. Eine für den Wettbewerb entwickelte Mischung ist für wiederholten, harten Einsatz entwickelt, für Gleichbleibendheit, wenn ein Bremssattel keine Chance zum Abkühlen hat, und für einen Fahrer, der aufmerksam liest, was die Bedienung ihm mitteilt. Keiner dieser Zustände ist ein gewöhnlicher Dienstagnachmittag. Die Trägerplatte unter der Reibschicht ist die übliche AGPA92-Platte, die jede Version des Artikels nutzt, sodass eine mit diesem Material ausgestattete XDiavel jederzeit auf ein Straßenmaterial zurückgestellt werden kann, ohne dass ein anderes Bauteil betroffen wäre.
Ein Rennmaterial auf einem Cruiser
Eine Wettbewerbsoberfläche für eine solche Maschine zu wählen ist eine bewusste Entscheidung und kein einfaches Upgrade, und sie bringt Folgen mit sich, die man kennen sollte. Material dieser Art möchte im Allgemeinen gefordert werden. Sanft benutzt und nie auf Temperatur gebracht, kann es sich beim ersten Griff hölzern anfühlen, und es belohnt keinen Fahrer, der einmal die Woche auf einem Parkplatz kurz am Pedal tippt. Es sauber mit einer Reihe kräftiger Betätigungen auf ruhiger Straße einbremsen und tatsächlich fordern, statt es nur gelegentlich zu berühren.
Hinzu kommt die Frage, wofür das Pedal an diesem Motorrad überhaupt steht. Mit vorgesetzten Fußrasten bedient der rechte Fuß die Hinterradbremse in einem anderen Winkel als an einer Sportmaschine, und feine Dosierung braucht Übung, unabhängig davon, welches Material im Bremssattel steckt. Wer eine Wettbewerbsmischung montiert, sollte sich einige Kreuzungen Zeit nehmen, um neu zu lernen, wie viel Druck wie viel Verzögerung bringt. Die ehrliche Zusammenfassung lautet, dass die Rennmischung EV2 für ein anderes Umfeld entworfen wurde; sie wird für diesen Bremssattel angeboten, und die XDiavel ist hier ohnehin als Maschine für den Einsatz auf geschlossenen Strecken gelistet.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieser hintere Belag deckt die XDiavel von 2016 bis 2024 ab, einschließlich der S, der Black Star und der Nera. Ein Bremssattel arbeitet am Heck der Maschine, eine Schachtel ist dort also ein vollständiger Wechsel. Accossato führt im selben Programm keinen vorderen Belag für dieses Modell, doch sein Scheibenprogramm nennt die DKS053 für die Maschine. Die Form AGPA92 sitzt auch unter anderen Motorrädern, und die Artikelnummer ist die Angabe, die eine Bestellung eindeutig hält.
