Die SuperSport 939 kam 2017 als Ducatis verkleideter Zweizylinder für Fahrer, die sportliches Handling ohne Rennhaltung wollen, und viele Besitzer nutzen sie für lange Sommertouren mit Beifahrer oder Gepäck. Der Sommer bringt eine eigene Gefahr mit sich: den ersten Schauer nach Wochen trockener, heißer Witterung. Solange die Straßen trocken bleiben, sammeln sich Öl, Gummi und Staub auf dem Asphalt, und der erste Regen macht aus diesem Film etwas sehr Rutschiges, bis genug Wasser gefallen ist, um ihn abzuwaschen. Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato baut den PF049 aus Aluminium und Kunststoff und liefert ihn in Schwarz, einen Protektor für jede Seite des Vorderrads. Im Set liegen nach Angabe von Accossato die Distanzstücke, Schrauben und alle für die Montage nötigen Teile. An der SuperSport 939 ist ihre Aufgabe, bei einem Rutscher oder Umfaller den ersten Kontakt mit der Straße zu übernehmen, was den Schaden an Gabel und Vorderachsbereich verringern kann. Sie sind zum Verbrauchen gedacht, und ein Protektor, der einen harten Schlag abbekommen hat, wird ohne weitere Überlegung gegen einen neuen getauscht.
Der erste Schauer nach einer Trockenperiode
Die Zeichen sind leicht zu erkennen, sobald man sie kennt: ein regenbogenfarbener Schimmer auf dem Asphalt, Gischt, die ölig wirkt, ein Geruch nach feuchtem Staub. Werden Sie dann sofort langsamer und fahren Sie die SuperSport 939 so flüssig wie möglich, bremsen Sie früh und sanft im aufrechten Zustand und geben Sie aus Kurven heraus das Gas stufenweise. Farbmarkierungen, Metalldeckel und die Fahrbahnmitte, wo Autos Öl verlieren, verlieren den Grip zuerst, ebenso Kreuzungen und Kreisverkehre, an denen Fahrzeuge stehen und anfahren. Auf einer Tour in Südeuropa, wo Regen wochenlang selten sein kann, ist das erste Unwetter der Saison oft das rutschigste. Ist der Schauer kurz und heftig, ist eine Kaffeepause eine vernünftige Entscheidung: Nach einer Weile spült der Regen das Schlimmste weg und die Straße gewinnt viel von ihrem Grip zurück. Ein Beifahrer sollte den Plan ebenfalls kennen, damit er ruhig sitzt und mit Ihnen in die Kurve geht. Prüfen Sie nach einem Rutscher oder langsamen Sturz Protektoren und Hebel, bevor Sie weiterfahren.
