Parkt man eine Panigale V4 S an einem Sommerabend auf einem Stadtplatz, bleibt sie selten lange allein. Mit elektronisch verstellter Federung, geschmiedeten Rädern und der unverkennbaren Form von Ducatis Vierzylinder-Supersportler zieht sie Zuschauer an, und früher oder später fragt jemand, ob er sich für ein Foto darauf setzen darf. Es ist ein Kompliment, doch ein Motorrad auf dem Seitenständer ist weniger stabil, als es wirkt, und sein Gewicht lässt sich für jemanden, der nie eines gehalten hat, leicht falsch einschätzen. Für die V4 S von 2018 und 2019 listet Accossato die Achsprotektoren vorne PF050.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossatos PF050 verbindet Aluminium mit Kunststoff und kommt in Schwarz, als Satz aus zwei Protektoren: einer für jede Seite des Vorderrads der Panigale V4 S. Nach Angabe von Accossato ist das Set komplett, mit den Distanzstücken, Schrauben und allen weiteren für die Montage erforderlichen Teilen. Die Idee bleibt dieselbe, ob das Motorrad auf einem Parkplatz fällt oder auf einer Rennstrecke rutscht: Die Protektoren sollen vor Gabel und Achsbereich den Boden erreichen und durch diesen Kontakt den Schaden dort verringern. Ein Protektor, der diese Aufgabe einmal erfüllt hat und es zeigt, wird ersetzt.
Darf ich mich für ein Foto draufsetzen?
Nein zu sagen ist immer eine Option, und die meisten akzeptieren das mit einem Lächeln. Sagen Sie Ja, behalten Sie die Kontrolle. Stellen Sie sich rechts von der Panigale V4 S, weg vom Ständer, mit einer Hand am rechten Griff und einem Finger an der Vorderradbremse, denn genau zu dieser Seite würde das Motorrad fallen, wenn es jemand aufrecht drückt. Bitten Sie die Person, langsam von der Ständerseite aufzusteigen, das Motorrad auf dem Ständer lehnen zu lassen statt es anzuheben, und die Hände vom Lenker zu lassen. Kinder sollten niemals ohne einen Erwachsenen, der das Motorrad hält, draufsitzen, und niemand sollte Auspuff oder Motor nach einer Fahrt berühren, da beide noch länger heiß bleiben. Behalten Sie den Schlüssel in der Tasche. Prüfen Sie nach dem Foto, dass der Ständer noch vollständig ausgefahren ist und das Motorrad sich darauf gesetzt hat, bevor Sie zurücktreten.
